The Sympathizer is a great book and an okay series. However, we were distracted by Robert Downey Jr. 's multiple roles.
The Sympathizer is a story about the end of the Vietnam War, a spy who was embedded in the South Vietnam army flees to the United States and takes up residence in a refugee community, where he continues to gather intelligence and report back to the Viet Cong.
