Really nice. I like that a lot, and I think for an older guy like me (72) who no longer can feel comfortable on a sport touring bike because of the bend in the legs, that M109R could be perfect.

I went with this Bike! I'm 50yrs old. It rides amazing and has all the giddy up, anyone would ever need. Took me a little bit figuring out how to turn it when going slow. The forward pegs make it a little different turning the monster. But once you ride it for awhile. It comes naturally, throwing your weight into it. It's fun it's big, and it will blow most sports bikes away!

@@antownemercer7552 It is a heavy bike but once your moving handles pretty good., you need to learn how to manage first gear., basically first gear is just to start moving and the second gear is the one to get you up to speed. when i make a full stop in traffic lights or stop signs, I stop in second gear then put it on neutral. I read a lot of comments about first gear on this bike, I guess is the way it was design.

Got my second one last year after a Mazda 3 decided to play dodgem cars with my 2010 model. Mine has upgraded air filter, exhaust and dyno tune which added an extra 10 hp and ft/lbs, with 100ft/lbs from idle making more than enough power for anything close to legal speeds. Along with the Japanese reliability, it annoys my HD mates how much attention it gets whenever stopped somewhere.

Rode one from a friend, make no mistake, it is essentially a sportsbike that looks like a cruiser. You twist the right hand and it will leave behind all those legends that shake when you corner at 70+ mph. This tank will take you pretty far if you just enjoy the inertia of this huge engine. Comfort-wise it is crap like pretty much any cruiser with forward controls, so avoid bumpy roads or your lower back will be busted. Of course you can travel with this thing, just strap a backpack to the passenger seat or buy a bagger instead of spoiling it with a lame barbecue grill or saddlebags. Don't drop it, I checked the parts that normally break and they are not cheap.

I definitely like to chime in on this. I owned one. I owned a Hayabusa before this but I understood what I was buying but the part of this bike I hated the most was the shudder in between shifts that still continues to this day. It isn’t that powerful the Harley vrod smoked this. The other part it need another gear. It was a decent bike but you need to tune to have smooth power and considering Suzuki hasn’t corrected the shudder into 2024 with the 1800 it will jar your filling lose. Most definitely test ride one before you buy one.

The sound with a TBR Turnout is wild. My neighbors aren't too thrilled. The 1923cc engine is definitely a blast. The LRS is about 660 lbs, with lighter pipe and the 109 is a hundred pounds more, WOW! I'm sure the aftermarket would have plenty of bag options for this bike. What I don't have is any reliable information on how long any new vehicle will last. I study the information that's available for these bikes and nobody published any new vehicles life expectancy. 300,000 kilometers is a LOT for a motorcycle. I wouldn't expect your rear end to last on a single bike that long, forget about the bike lasting that long. 🙂 Have a chat with some owners, see what they have to say.

It's tough for me to recommend a bike for someone just based on a KZread comment. You mentioned several bikes that you've tried but they each have a reason that you don't like them. I would say come up with a list of things that you want on a bike, and narrow the list down by cutting off things you don't need. No matter who you are, whether you're a new rider or an experienced veteran, choosing a motorcycle is going to be a compromise. So it sounds like you're looking at a lot of bikes. Try to find a few things that you like about one or two and see if there's anything else in that class for you to consider. That's the best way to help yourself with choosing. Finally, I see you posted the exact same comment 5 or 6 times on various videos. I'm hoping that you took the time to watch all the videos that you copied and pasted these comments into? Some will give you answers to the questions that you're asking. But there's no need to comment multiple times. I do my best to get to as many of the comments that I can. 👍

I don't think it needs a sixth year. That's an argument that you make on something with half the horsepower of this bike. Updates would be nice, but like I mention in the video, in a world where SUV's are having to have less displacement than this motorcycle, the engineering costs of tweaking this bike probably won't pay off in worldwide sales. This thing isn't going to be produced forever, so if people like it, buy it before it's gone for good.

@@PeterLoweOne It would be nice to keep the RPMs down for interstate speeds, while still having a good 1-5 for other times. This bike could easily be made into a good bike for longer trips. @@AyaWetts I think you're forgetting that a 6th gear would probably be the same ratio as what 5th gear is now. It doesn't rev high at highway speeds as is, and a taller gear would likely require more speed, instead of delivering lower revs. I hear what you're saying, but this engine isn't like other engines in the class.
