Our theater clapped at the end!!! Me and my brother were laughing the whole time including the whole theater (at the movie and with the movie). Plus we had a ton of adults in the theater suprisingly. I enjoyed it for what it is. A fun time!! Glad you liked it!! :)

Honestly, the best part of watching the movie was watching it with my family, specifically my sister, brother, mom, and grandfather. I spent half the movie whispering to my sister "oh my gosh, that was a 3D Land reference!" or "Princess Peach is actually kinda cute..." and she absolutely did not care. The only two of us who played the games were me and my brother, but it was still so fun! Even my mom liked it, and she never liked video games. Kinda sad we didn't see any Mario Galaxy, but I understand why not. I wanted to see Pretty Space Lady though...

The Mario Movie in my opinion is the most beautiful love letter to Nintendo fans, not for the critics!! I'm so happy that you loved it!! Also that Luma is named Lumalee he's from Mario Galaxy and gives you items in exchange for star bits, and Magikoopa's real name is Kamek. 10/10 movie for me!! ❤

I’m glad you loved it too. I watched it the first time on April 5th and the second time on April 8 in 3d before I watched the finale of owl House. I’m glad you are in to this too👍👍

The best part of this for me was whenever something came on screen (like the goombas, or the powerups) all the kids in the audience would whisper to their parents to explain what it was. Like the fire flower scene, i heard just a wave of lil kid voices going ’MAAAM ITS A FIRE FLOWER, WHEN U TOUCH IT YOU GET FIRE POWERS MAAAAM!’ and stuff like that. it was a really fun movie!

I agree! The movie was very fast paced, I hope if there's a sequel, it's around 2 hours or so, so there's more time to spread out the scenes, like have a bigger lore section y'know?

It'll be a waste of time for Mario and Peach to do all that. Mario is there to save his brother with the help of Peach. Mario got to know Peach during the Fire Flower field scene. Also, Luigi has some screentime during the interrogation scene, the lava prison, and him being saved by Mario during the wedding scene.

I personally thought the movie was great as well. Me and my friends were pointing out all the easter eggs and references from the older Mario games that we saw in the movie. Overall a great watch👍

My sister and I used to have very similar Mario and Luigi plushies! We loved the movie!

I loved the new mario movie. It was genuanly so good. The voice acting and characters were amazing! The characters voices were deffinatly what i thought the voices would sound like. I agree that the movie was too fast. It was as if they didn't have enough time for the movie. But then again it got into the action quickly with that starting scene going fast. I have always loved bowser in Mario. Everytime i played Mariocart i played as Bowser. Boswer is definatly one of my favourite characters in the mario universe. ALSO MARIO CAT?!?!? YES. I just didn't like how in the movie the cat box was something DK laughed about when in the Mario games the catbox is actually really good to get. ANYWAY I LOVED THIS MOVIE!

I LOVE THE MATTY VOICE AT THE START 😭😭

I’ve played Super Mario Bros like- once because I had it on my old Wii. I was pretty bad at it, but I still enjoyed the movie regardless of whether or not I completely understood the lore. Luckily, since it’s a really popular game, even though I was born a little bit too late to get the full experience from it like my mom did, I was still in the loop. Also Peach is the most iconic character and ofc Peaches is the most iconic song +I was forced to watch the movie but I still loved it

The movie was good but I think people would miss a lot of the fun if you don’t get the references

Yeah honestly when I was watching in 3D I didn't expect him to BLJ entirely out of the movie and into the theater and proceed to constantly scream
