The Super Bowl of Custom Motorcycle Shows: Born-Free 14
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Born-Free is the largest and most prestigious chopper show in North America. Custom motorcycles of all kinds show up, but the emphasis is on vintage and vintage-inspired choppers. 26 invited builders highlight this 14th edition of the show. They had 8 months to create something wild. Just being invited is accomplishment enough, while a few will receive additional honors such as best Panhead, best Knucklehead, and best in show. Born-Free 14 was held on June 24-25 in Silverado Canyon, Orange County, California.
This recap wouldn't be possible without the support of Throttle Addiction. Check out their selection of 1,000+ chopper parts, their 90 day return policy and free shipping on orders over $99: www.throttleaddiction.com/

The first one is so custom it’s insane. So much work put into the one that didn’t have the shiny paint job. Sick sick bike. Nice job Loveless

The crocker is everything. Absolute masterpiece.
Best chopper show no doubt. Great people watching as well!
The Loveless performance bike is the best in the show. Not my style, but you just gotta appreciate that craftsmanship.
Really liked the Megan Margeson bike. Her stance on putting an electric start on her 64’ pan head was awesome. Too many gatekeeping purists out there. A bike is a personal statement. As personal as someone’s underwear. There are no wrong moves when someone is building a bike.
that Koslo is wicked and with the radioactive fuel switch sheesh 😂 ! Tho for choppers I really love the Harley Knuckle snd Pan heads 😎

I agree, some of the stuff they come up with blows my mind. Like the 12 gauge shotgun shell start in the first bike.
Killer bikes, excellent interviews mixed with catchy tunes. Thank you for sharing.
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼 Brian and Kaktus representing! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I have always been a big fan of yours and Indian Larry. I do watch that epeoside often. Still to this day i plan to build a chopper from scratch at least one time in my life Thanks for the inspiration Mr. Lane.
Beautiful bikes! So much what I was use to riding back in the day and before I retired. I watch a few videos from Sturgis and the majority of the bikes looked like factory cookie cutter machines. Love the bikes you are showing!
This is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!
I love the Koslow..... NICE! Great Imagination and Execution.
Beauiful Bikes ! I just came across your channel in my feed actually and I'm happy to support your efforts and those of other fellow moto content creators. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you in the future, keep up the great work and ride safe out there.
i enjoy this video so much, i hope you do a lot more like this
Shoutout from Saskatchewan, didn't know how deep y'all are in with the chopper scene!
I noticed on the Koslow motor it also says Chicago. In one of Chicago's suburbs there is an old Schwinn bicycle store called Koslow Cycles. I wonder if there is a connection...it's pretty cool to think...
Great video guys! Really cool interviews.
crazy good bikes
"The land of high pegs, skinny jeans and Born Free" I don't recall who it was that said it, but it sticks in my mind since reading this in a chopper mag.

I love the soundtrack you’ve made for this video. Great taste in bikes and music 👍
58:07 for me is this the most beautiful bike 😍 👏 bravo
Awesome show… thanks buddy…
24:49 - "The Judge" That Panhead takes me back to my first issue of Big Bike magazine. Oh yeah, Choppers magazine too (when Roth wrote for it). I have a penchant for yellow and ORANGE bikes (viva Max Schaaf!). Aaron Loveless built one of the most unique motorcycles I've seen in a long time -- and I've seen a lot of one-off builds in my lifetime. That Koslow engine powered VL is something special! Hats off to Jonnie Green (TonUpJonnie) for that '49 Triumph -- she's a beaut! It's truly great to see the ladies and their bikes represented at this event. Born Free IS the main event -- THE greatest show on Earth on two or three. Countless thanks, Grant, Mike, all of the Invited Builders, all of the builders of the bikes in the lot, the vendors, shop owners, ChopCult, and Throttle Addiction! Did I leave anyone out?! Build right. Ride safe.
11:00 That turbo is clean!
KAKTUS PANHEAD is my spirit animal 🌵✌️
Jared Smith’s FLXR performance chopper for the win!!
Aaron Loveless is a genius! I am in love with your bike, best of the show and the whole youtube!!!!!!! 👌
such a badass chanel ,love the bikes and the music for your channel is the best,,love the guitar also ,,so your music is so good as well
1:13 a surf board and not a lil one either😂
Impossible to judge the best bike there but that crackle coat paint blows my mind. You should try an get the patent for it you seem like a truly awesome guy as well
I stopped to see what was up because I seen my favorite chef in the thumbnail, Matty!!
OMG Megan, how did I find this video. I'm so sorry about what happened to your pan.

All the bomber pilots that lived through the war lived to be old old men I think you'll be ok with one part they had radio active materials all around them back then watches lanterns you name it not to mention the military equipment they were using
Shotgun shell starter , youve been watching too much flight of the Phoenix lol....
Hey mat I'm MichaelRay I'm hoping to be in Daytona for bike week I'm from Seattle Washington it would be next to meet you in either place and if you need anything wile in Washington let me know I'll do my best to help out .
the numbers on your watch had the same glow in the dark radiation on it.
how tf did Scotty Dettwiler not win??!!
Bruh I live in Phoenix and I have a lot of great riding weather but I'm spooked about riding out here because everyone in a car is full tilt retarded and I ain't getting hit in traffic. Bucket list dream bike is hands down INDIAN LARRY'S LEGACY STYLE 😂❤

Yeah, Indian Larry would win this every single year. But a lot of the bikes here had some of his inspiration.
Nothing like building a bike that won't start. 😢

Want to know how to destroy a vintage motorcycle? Chop it!
Amazing bike but... Holy shit. That kind of power pushing an analogue lead sled with 1940's tech. So you say you want to see Jesus????
why is there no lady-man section?😅
'promo sm'
First time using a camera? Or was that koslo bike just too much. You can't even see any details because of the light... put the sun behind you next time don't shoot detail shots directly into the sun 😮
Blood sweat bank account haha now that is well sead they alway ignore money that goes into costom bikes
Why? They look so unsafe to ride.
Bruh that radiation is hitting your balls as you ride hope you don’t want kids!
After all that work you go with stickers over real pin strip? Shame

They sure look awesome. Unfortunately most of them are giant paper weights, many of these bikes are not rideable.
Born Free is just too clicky, too trendy, too much catering towards the “chopular”, and not enough recognition for the outliers. Good video though.
Gaylordfree. What a fun time to kiss other dudes on the mouth
Lots of trash here. Some of these things look like shit id throw away.
The best built choppers in the world I love choppers they are fun
When he said high end , I turned it off and went on.
High end? Goes against all chopper values
It's about choppers not about the son of God that is unwanted commercial spam and it is more fun looking and riding choppers than worry about others using our channel to praise or sell their god when life is great back in the 70s when choppers were choppers
These #Bornfree shows have more NON-RUNNING MOTORCYCLES then any in the world. Bikes with no oil, bikes with no pistons, flat tires, bikes that barley run but are supposedly 40k bikes. It's a new age shit show.
