I loved the series really. And this scene made me cry when he said to his mother, but I didn't like it that he said "I need you" at the ending to Belly too, it kinda took away its meaning idk.

Whoever in charge to include multiple Taylor Swift's songs in the series deserved a nobel prize for humanity. SOOOOO GOOOD!!!!

I'll be honest, I completely expected this to be bad and maybe even worse than To all the boys I've loved, but because i loved the books when I was younger and Jenny Han, I was determined to watch the show, and I'm glad i did! The cast, directors, and writers did such a great job on it. I loved the book series when I was younger but something was always missing and I feel like the show did such a great job sticking to the original plot while also adding more to it. I can honestly say this was one of the few times I've ever felt like the movie/show adaptation was better than the book.

I totally agree with you. The books focused heavily on Belly's inner monologue and flashbacks so I was confused how it would play out on screen. Adding some storylines and characters and enhancing others (like more focus on Laurel and Sussanah) were amazing changes. I also liked how the country club/deb scene incorporated other teenagers for Belly to interact with, so it didn't seem as though Taylor was her only friend.

I'm older than this whole cast and my heart is fluttering over them ALL

Literally. I’m too impatient to wait for the library so I just went to the store and bought them all 😂😂

the book series got me into reading back at 2018, so i was screaming and crying when this got released. my expectations weren't that high as i often get disappointed by movie adaptations of books. However, this show completely got rid of any doubt i had. the casting was phenomenal and i adored the asian rep was to be honest asians rarely ever get casted and if so, there is normally only one. The music playlist was insane, so contemporary and just absolutely stunning. It stuck really close with the plot lines of the book and adding more scenes which only made the show that much better. I'm proud to say that this series is probably one of my favourite shows ever.
