@@VanderEdits That sucks man. I get removing raw clips of the film but edits that gain traction only boost the movie's visibility plus these fall under fair use. Out of curiosity: what kind of a warning did you get? Also did you get a content strike or no?

Near the end of the movie they showed just how powerful she can be if she unleashes her full potential in the devices she uses.

My 2nd favourite since bloodsport is my favourite

I like how they kind of subverted a trope with Bloodsport and Ratcatcher 2’s relationship. I think a lot of people were expecting them to have the typical found father/daughter relationship you see in a lot of movies. However, Cleo acted as more of a parental figure to Bloodsport than he did to her. Despite their circumstances, her father raised her with love and showed her how to be compassionate and kind to all. As a result she showed Bloodsport the kind of love and support he didn’t get from his own abusive father, allowing him to grow into a better person and leader (and hopefully a better a father) as a result. I was really expecting one of them to die based on the “I’m going to get you out alive” however, they both survived and saved each other, and it worked so much better than if either of them had died. I love what they did with Ratcatcher 2 and Daniela’s performance was brilliant.

Yeah that's a great observation! I really liked what they did with their relationship. I think her relationship with King Shark was also great - it too showcases her compassion for all kinds of creatures despite their differences. I was going for that with the "loneliest and most despised" line & showing footage of King Shark towards the end.

I loved when during the final battle when she summoned her army of rats she made sure to reach over and comfort Bloodsport as he was most likely freaking out with all the rats crawling over him. She made sure he knew he wasn't alone in that box again.

I don't know if I agree with that. I think Bloodsport always had that good in him, and I don't necessarily think Rat catcher 2 brought it out of him. It just kind of manifested on its own.

@@kylecrowson1417 I don't think it just manifested, I think it's more like he had good in him but the reality of the world and more so his chosen profession just buried it deep down since being a bad guy is a better survival tool.

I want a stand alone Ratcatcher 2 movie. Daniela was really awesome. The way she she shows her emotions with ratcatcher and the way she shouted no in anguish at peacemaker when he was about to shoot her, I legit felted that. This is her first English movie? Wow! Cant wait to see what the future holds for her!

“He has very kind eyes” The way she said it made me melt.

I just realised Ratcatcher is the only one being nice to King Shark is because she loves animals

Yeah I was on the edge of my seat because this is the type of film where they could've easily killed her off. You pretty much never feel that in Marvel movies.

Her father taught her to appreciate all creatures. That's why she loves and considers King Shark a friend inspite him wanting to eat her. Really shows the compassion of her character. Beautiful edit. You really captured that

Her relationship with king shark was so cute ☺️

She was my favorite, her lines just felt more meaningful than most in the film. Hope we get more of her in the future

Idk if it’s just me, but having Daniela keep her accent throughout the movie was incredible and tbh I loved hearing her Portuguese accent!

Now, she’s my new favorite villain 🦹🏻‍♀️ as the ratcatcher, when she can control 🐀.

I got pet rats just before the pandemic. Two for my kiddo. And I fell in love. Now I walk around the house with my Appa on my shoulder. I make kissy sounds, and he licks my nose. They really are sweet, gentle, smart, and desperately loyal. Even our CATS love them. I cried watching her. I'm a broken nurse during a calamity. But these tiny creatures treat me like family. I might forget to eat for myself, but giving them carrots and blueberries and petting them until they wag their tails (yes, they wag their tails) makes me feel good and whole. ❤️

Fantastic fan video - it's so sad they wanna remove these since I agree they help build traction and hype for the movie. Also, i just loved the selection of music and quotes you went with for this. I love my pet rats and was so wonderfully surprised with Cleo Cazo as a character. She really brought warmth to the squad I think.

She was amazing in this film . Outshines everyone and this had Margot's best portrayal of Harley too so that says alot. I am straight in love with her now . And Taika's voice is great. It was weird but very cool seeing some many involved with the mcu involved with this film . It sucks this was released during pandemic and alot of ppl thought it was a re release of the original which hurt it at the box office even more other than the delta. Only delta I want is delta 9 .

For whatever reason someone at WB-DC thought it was bright idea to release this movie under pretty much same title. That's like making new Superman movie and calling it THE MAN OF STEEL. This, their incompetence with Swamp Thing, Titans and mess up with BvS is what makes their incompetence so frustrating. This movie was legit fun, it was helluva lot better directed and written and had whole lot better character development. They actually felt like characters and not plot point devices.

She's awesome & yet she so beautiful...

The suicide squad should only be in theaters only

Dumb question of someone who has yet to watch the movie: I‘ve seen images of her wearing that gas mask. Are there many scenes in which she is seen with it? Or is it more like in this video and she is not wearing the mask at all that much? I‘m asking because I know people who have issues with these kind of masks and don‘t want to make them watch a movie which they couldn‘t enjoy.

Without giving away spoilers: if I remember correctly she puts it on for just one scene for a specific reason to act as protection for her face. There might be another brief scene where it's on (I've only seen this once) but I'd say 90-95% of the time it's not on.

The thing about Hollywood i hate is that they force other race groups to roles and call them "diverse". Throw in some asian dude, some black instead of white, boom, diverse. But suicide squad is different. The casting on the movie was perfect. Daniela melanchor was just the heart of the movie and nailed it perfectly.

Apparently James Gunn considered an ending where she died, that would have been a terrible decision.

I've been making similar video for a while and I've recently been wondering what category these types of video fall under. When asked I always say edits or tribute videos, but that doesn't seem completely right. Also since every one of my videos are copyrighted, by either the song owner or companies like Disney itself, I'm always unsure how to make them and not worry about copyright.
