Both my brother Steven and I had the honor and privilege of being able to train under the tutelage of Professors Cowboy and Pop Edwards in the Bronx dojo. Their guidance and expertise of Professor Vee’s martial arts i still carry with me to this day. Their philosophy and training was years ahead of the training methods of other schools. I am proud to have known Pop and consider Cowboy a dear friend who was part of our families and throughout all of life’s ups and downs. God Bless Cowboy Pop and their family! I absolutely am thrilled with his dialogue I truly wish that Shihan Cowboy would have been able to demonstrate some of the techniques and applications of the human Makiwari forms, combat techniques and kata forms so others would be able to see the practical application of his teachings!
