    Make sure your FNS-9C isn’t part of the “Safety Bulletin” (recall). Mine was, and FN sent me a shipping label, and I sent them my pistol, so they could replace the striker. They had it back to me in 7 days exactly. I didn’t like the fact that the replacement strikers are MIM, and were prone to breaking; so I replaced mIne with an Apex striker, which is a billet striker. I have had zero issues with my FNS-9C, and use it as my EDC, 99% of the time. In the winter, I’ll carry my GEN3 G23 or GEN3 G19.

    I definitely see the draw in the G26, it came up just a tad too small for my taste. I had actually gone into the shop with the intention of getting one, and came out with a CZ P10S. I just did the sub compacts over the micro stuff.

    Well at least I got a Trump ad during the Glock commercial.. 😂😂 Oh by the way I took my brand new P365XL TacPac to the range today, (lubed only, didn't clean it) 99 rounds (dropped one) of Blazer 115gr fmj, zero malfunctions. It seems accurate at 10yds, mags were a bit tight, but got 12 rounds in all 3 that came with the pistol. I got a full 3 finger grip on the grip module, optic ready (rear sight separate from the optic plate), I haven't tried the holster yet. I might see about getting a "Macro" grip module or at least comparing it the XL grip. Good video, I might check out a FN in the near future!

    I wish I could find some good touch up markers or paint or whatever to cover up scratches and wear marks (to cover up bear steel). I haven't really found any except for solid black one's (black pain markers in some cases, but also metal blackeners ad bluing). Some of them work alright... but they just don't work on the majority of guns. It seems like the majority of slides are dark gray and not really black too. I also don't think that nitride/tenifer steel can be blackened with blackeners. I guess that if nitride/tenifer steels are worn down to where you can see steel/silver, the nitride/tenifer is still there and cannot be blackened like bare steel can. I haven't tried on many guns, but I tried on a P320, a P365 and an aftermarket black nitride slide so far and the blackeners didn't work on any of them. They did work on blued steel, but they don't match the bluing, because they're BLACK. The best way to fix bluing is usually to just re-blue the worn areas again. (Forgive the rant. I'm sure many of you know I do this by now. lol).

    I would argue that the 26 is better in the fact that its parts are easily available and if you have to search for things in a apocalypse you'd be able to run a 26 finding pieces of any of the bigger models G17/19/34 and get it running rather than the CZ thats very niche. Don't get me wrong tho I love CZ and the P01 is my full size carry, but the 26 is the most versatile Glock in existence and the perfect back up pistol

  • @AyeCoby

    @AyeCoby

    @@mi777ke777 when you look at the cost of the CZ compared to the Glock26 it’s literally half the price. And Using the Apocalypse as an argument is crazy cause that’s never going to happen. My Argument is More Based On Price and Performance.

    Don't mean to pick here but the whole "battle tested, law enforcement" thing is a bit of a myth. Something like 80% of law enforcement officers in the US never discharge a firearm in the line of duty. If they do, they certainly aren't wild westing their way through the streets firing 1000s of rounds. There are competitive shooters and avid hobbies that shoot many thousands of rounds per year, which is far more than the vast majority of law enforcement officers.
