@@hxhdfjifzirstc894well, they cost over a hundred dollars, and take up quite a bit of cabinet space (and even more space on the countertop as they need room to “flip”) so buying “a ton” of the waffle makers wouldn’t make sense economically, or in terms of efficiency, which are the prime reasons for meal prepping in large quantities (other than diet/nutrition) and other than some keto recipes, I’m not seeing this as a huge diet friendly kitchen gadget. It’s doesn’t take that long to cook, if someone want to make 4-6 it would take probably 30ish minutes.

We bought this certain it was going to be a cheap gimmick and then return it once we realized it didn’t work. We made two items and I fell in love, this thing is so freaking cool. Especially if you want to take something on the go. if I am feeling extra gluttonous, I like to stuff it with mozzarella, Italian sausage, and pepperoni. Then I dip it in warm pizza sauce as I eat it. So freaking good.

I have a stuffed waffle maker by power xl. We do all kinds of different flavors. If you use more wet ingredients use less waffle mix. The moisture makes it not cook evenly. We love ours! All you need is one and your full too!

You need to cook the first layer longer before adding liquid or viscous ingredients. That way the inner batter will cook when you add the cooler liquid. OR make sure the berries and jam aren’t cold when put into the batter would help with this.

I have 2 of them. I bought 1 for my niece, then another 1, but at a higher price… there was a price increase. She entertains a lot and a very active and close family. It takes at least 6 to 7 minutes each. By the time the last person gets 1bit would be over an hour. The 2 of them, 2 children and their wives, 2+4=6 then add grandchildren another 3.5 (1 baby), 2+4+3=10….. at the time the baby was only a few months old. She loves it.

Just got one yesterday. I didn't have any batter or ingredients but really wanted to try using it so I took out the center ring and toasted a sandwich. The shallow groove waffle pattern and gap between the iron actually worked really well for this. Thinking I'll try putting a burger patty and cheese in the center when I get some batter.

no just use premade waffle mix it comes in a box you can get it for 5 dollars and all you need to add to it is water plus bacon and eggs takes a max of 10 mins to cook and the stuffler takes about 10-15 mins so only around 23 mins of work for something that isn't just premade refrigerated ingredients thrown together at Mcdonalds

I think you'll use it a couple times then never touch it again. It's one of those things that probably works somewhat well but most people will quickly get tired of the gimmick.
Those would be perfect to meal prep a bunch, freeze, and then pop in an air fryer whenever you want them. I'm definitely buying one of these

@@hxhdfjifzirstc894well, they cost over a hundred dollars, and take up quite a bit of cabinet space (and even more space on the countertop as they need room to “flip”) so buying “a ton” of the waffle makers wouldn’t make sense economically, or in terms of efficiency, which are the prime reasons for meal prepping in large quantities (other than diet/nutrition) and other than some keto recipes, I’m not seeing this as a huge diet friendly kitchen gadget. It’s doesn’t take that long to cook, if someone want to make 4-6 it would take probably 30ish minutes.

It's because the jam and fresh berries have too much water. The batter gets wetter as the water cooks out.

We bought this certain it was going to be a cheap gimmick and then return it once we realized it didn’t work. We made two items and I fell in love, this thing is so freaking cool. Especially if you want to take something on the go. if I am feeling extra gluttonous, I like to stuff it with mozzarella, Italian sausage, and pepperoni. Then I dip it in warm pizza sauce as I eat it. So freaking good.

I have a stuffed waffle maker by power xl. We do all kinds of different flavors. If you use more wet ingredients use less waffle mix. The moisture makes it not cook evenly. We love ours! All you need is one and your full too!

You need to cook the first layer longer before adding liquid or viscous ingredients. That way the inner batter will cook when you add the cooler liquid. OR make sure the berries and jam aren’t cold when put into the batter would help with this.

I've made a kind of corndog with cornbread mix and quartered hot dogs. They were wonderful. Also stuffing and turkey. That was pretty good. My kids said they were great with cranberry sauce added.
My hubby bought this for Christmas morning breakfast and we love it. But yeah, the non solid fillings don’t cook as evenly, but we absolutely love this thing! We even made cheeseburger waffles. Sooooo good!

I got one of these. It is one of the few cooking things that works exactly like the videos and pictures and stuff show. It is so easy to use. It is awesome. Highly recommend.
If you had stuck with just jam, you probably wouldn't have had a problem with consistency. I'm guessing the juice from the fresh berries were the problem.

I have some blackberries that accidentally froze and a bunch of juice came out of them. So now I’m gonna throw THOSE into the Stuffler waffles and see if that fixes it? If not. I’ve got ground chicken to make some chicken sausage so instead of chicken and waffles I’ll have chicken IN waffles
The thing is, once you get a device like a stuffer, you gotta be a stuffer guy. You gotta think about making breakfast with your stuffer, you gotta start inserting the stuffer into your routine. It's not a gadget that'll adapt to someone's routine, it's the other way around.

I have 2 of them. I bought 1 for my niece, then another 1, but at a higher price… there was a price increase. She entertains a lot and a very active and close family. It takes at least 6 to 7 minutes each. By the time the last person gets 1bit would be over an hour. The 2 of them, 2 children and their wives, 2+4=6 then add grandchildren another 3.5 (1 baby), 2+4+3=10….. at the time the baby was only a few months old. She loves it.

I have a stuffler. There's a little trial and error with some recipes, but man oh man are there some deliciously fattening things you can make with it. My wife loves smore stuffles and I'm fond of cherry cheesecake stuffles

When I was a kid, I wanted all the infomercial appliances. Especially the ready set GO. The stuffler might be what I need to bring back the nostalgia of those commercials after Saturday morning cartoons.
I appreciate that it's not a super niche gadget. Ignore the extra ingredients and it's just an extra thick waffle iron. If you don't have a waffle iron, this could replace your normal purpose and just give more options for the same gadget potentially.

Just got one yesterday. I didn't have any batter or ingredients but really wanted to try using it so I took out the center ring and toasted a sandwich. The shallow groove waffle pattern and gap between the iron actually worked really well for this. Thinking I'll try putting a burger patty and cheese in the center when I get some batter.
I request you try this with chaffles too so I can see before I buy one 🤣🤣 (chaffles are keto cheese waffles)

I have used store bought mix, and it worked just fine.
The immediate “mmm” from everyone on the first try really sold me.
