I feel sorry for people who didn’t grow up listening to the streets, what a an absolute legend mike is.

Mikey’s still got it 20 years later. I 1st heard his music when I was in my mid to late 30’s. 58 now. Still diggin’ it.

I'm 30 now and re introduced him to this yesterday, brought back the memories me and my 60yearold dad blasting it out my car now bopping along 😂

It’s certainly been a long road!

I liked some of the D.O.T music but just couldn't feel the vibe of the old streets music, the man himself has said the same thing in an interview (it's on youtube somewhere) that's1 of the reasons why hes brought the streets back

I didnt really enjoy the DOT but He released alot of songs in 2017 under the name "The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light" and an album titled "The Streets" under that name in 2021 and I really love the vibe of those songs, it's like The Streets but more melodic

Its fascinating how Mikey and the Streets can make a new track sound like a classic the first time you heard it. Just incredible, thank you.

I think the Blinded by the lights will always be the streets best song. BUT with that said the vibe from this is also euphoric. Id love to hear this at a festival or similar setting. Another master piece either way.

The Streets, Sleaford Mods....these artists have paved the way and still produce original touching music that ignites the youth that so many of us have buried and slapped down because society needs us to be compliant. great song, great lyrics, good vibe. Thank you for keeping the me of 30 years ago relevent and valid.

Listening to this is like going back in time, instantly got that warm feeling I did way back when listening to OPM and a grand don't come for free, I'm 38 now but took me back to being a teenager, don't see some of those friends at the time anymore, still see others but made me think of great times and great memories. Nice 1 Mike hope the rest of the album has got the same feel. PEACE

Mike should get some sort of cultural award dont like all his stuff but hes someone who should be considered for his special genre and life affecting music and words.
