Physical media only - I don't care how many stacks of dvd, blu rays, 4k HD discs you have to own - it is the only way. It is the legend!

I like how media industry evolve in circle, remember when Cable TV is better than TV, but after Cable want you pay more for their service, Streaming show up and become better+cheaper than Cable TV, and now Streaming follow Cable TV footsteps 😂

Eventually someone will start a service that bundles all the different streaming services and we'll essentially have cable again.

Streaming services are becoming more expensive monthly due to having to use multiple services for what it was supposed to replace, cable/satellite television. The days of accessible media on the interwebs without ads of somekind are long gone.

Can anyone remember back in the day Foxtel had literally no ads? You could change the channel and it would change instantly not this 3 second wait. This was way before dvds back when wcw was on foxtel. Good times. You also had tech tv and X play and attack of the show. so so g ood.

Other than there being multiple streaming platforms for different shows which is expensive its also the huge volume of shows releasing to a point where you can't keep up. Not only that the platforms release so much that a lot of it is garbage and not worth paying for

I've cancelled all my streaming services since like a year ago. I just use an adblocker, and some "ahem..." "Third party websites".

I'm so glad I gave up on streaming services! I've been spending the extra money I save adding to my physical media collection. I can get 10 DVDs for 10$ where I live. It's so nice to just take a break from the internet once and a while now.

I think streaming is just fine. It’s not going anywhere, neither is physical media. I’m not afraid Best Buy stopped carrying it, they don’t sell anything that isn’t full blown mainstream stuff everyone already owns 80% of people can’t spend 100 plus a month on buying discs. 80% of people are fine paying $20 a month on two streaming services I’m sorry but these battle of the movies videos are getting tiring. People do what suits them best. Streaming and physical isn’t going anywhere

Basically about of places will go belly up, like what happened with the dot com bubble. Paramount appears to be heading that way already with everything we’re seeing from that situation

Can we all just acknowledge how amazing a coincidence it was that Akira Toriyama died on the year of the Dragon.. 1/12 chance & he managed to do it🙌🏻🔥🐉 As a dragon myself this pleases me & I’m sure he’ll have been amused himself when he landed on SnakeWay and was told his situation. Gonna just have prime . Not ones watching Disney plus or Netflix in my house anymore , will save over $40 a month … if u want a movie buy it or rent it

I am spending way too much on streaming $140 bucks every month but I like it a lot haha I watch probably 1-2 movies every single day

It's delusional to think that streaming wilk collapse and everyone will run to hard media. Many actually think this way! It's laughable. I love my hard media. But streaming is still significantly cheaper for access to tons of movies than buying 1 4K. Seriously, I pay $33 for Criterion, Shudder and Amazon. That's thousands of movies for the cost of many 4Ks. The same people who say "Streaming is expensive!" are willing to drop $30 on a steelbook with mediocre art as a double dip, just to get the "steelbook". Yeah, that makes so much sense. I don't think people listen to themselves. It's sounds cultic. But you know what isn't flying off of shelves? Bluray and 4k players. But nobody wants to discuss that elephant in the room.

I don’t like streaming even though I have to, I would prefer being able to buy myself a copy of the movie or series I want to watch at Target, Best Buy, or Walmart but sadly I won’t be able to do that anymore pretty soon

The streaming bubble bursted a long time ago when they started raising prices and not producing enough content. They had a good run during the pandemic but now it's over. The only one standing is Netflix. I have Prime but they started adding commercials so I may cancel since I have a yearly membership. Canceled Hulu a couple of months ago I'm keeping Netflix.

Too much competition, and if you subscribe to all it's just as expensive as regular TV 📺 subscription.

Market will self regulate itself - streaming services that are not profitable will bankrupt until only major ones left standing. And what's the point of $60 bundles if people just gonna subscribe to 1 or 2 that they need ? Normal people don't need 5 services - they have jobs and busy lives and not much free time to waste on media consumption.

​​@@attilamarics3374 now that interest rates went up (making borrowing from banks more expensive), the markets can actually behave like markets. The entire 2010s was startups growing and attempting blitzscaling on VC money .

I also went back to antenna for some casual sport and tv. Antenna and physical forever. lol

Here in America even the cable companies are getting out of home cable services and switching it to a app based streaming service and internet provider. You can't pirate it like normal cable by "illegal hookup". They put limits on where and how many simultaneous streams based on address and ip.

The only one i use every now and then is netflix.

The wild West days of streaming are numbered, but streaming is here to stay. Once people sit down they don't want to leave their seat. They will happily stream any number of substandard programmes rather than get up to load a disc. I do it myself and I have discs.

I doubt it. People just want convience now. There coiukd be a great movie out in theatres and an average one on streaming. 90 percent of people will choose to stay at home. Even though the streaming services are getting worse. People just want to opt for staying at home and watching what's on offer even if it's not as good. Love the shirt btw

watching ads is unacceptable to me that is just not part of any entertainment experience. nothing is worth watching an ad i don't want that in my life. ive also tried netflix and amazon prime and having access to a small collection of media that changes isnt appealing enough to pay for.

Over saturation, unlimited choices, destroys everything, we don't have time for everyone, we can't even believe half of the news we listen to. Too much of anything makes us not care, we get sick of something before the first season is even over, sorry I haven't gone to a movie theater in 12 years, good luck with all of this stuffy mess, I'm out of here

It already burst years ago for me. The content is garbage, the forced political ideologies is irritating, and there are just way too many of them to keep up with. The only subscription I currently have is KZread Premium, and that's because I hate ads.

Doubtful, outside western countries it’s more affordable than going weekly to the cinema. Apple TV rentals are cheaper than the theatre in my country, most VOD services. The mobile versions of Netflix and Disney plus is good value, more will follow.

pirate streaming is still free... just sayin'
