Believe me, if someone is doing that to a. cat it's because they are working up to a human. Its always like that.

The huge difference between the wicked people who injured this poor kitten, and the wonderful man who saved its life. He will get his reward in the next life but I hope the wicked ones rot in a firey hell. Such a brave animal too who seemed to know he was being helped. Broke my heart.
