Ok. Being genuine here. Wholesome is great and loving and showing love to your partner is most important. Some jokes about hating your partner are cringy but most of the joking between my wife and I are us recognizing our own superficial faults and embracing the fact that their existence is not important. She'll joke about my fading hair or I'll joke about her being short, we'll each playfully overreact our feelings being hurt, then laugh about it. It's just a silly thing you do with someone you're spending your life with. Flaws don't need to be something to get upset about, own that shit and it can never be used against you, someone else said that but I agree with it.

I was a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding and she calls me up to tell me that I wasn't smiling in any of the photos and I had to spill the beans on the fact that there was a f*cking hornets' nest just chilling right above our parents. I saw it went Oh my god and my cousin whispered shut up, shut up, shut up, just ignore it! No one got stung, no one noticed it and my boyfriend sat in the back row because of it.

I have a fun little story to share: My friend and I went to a Milo's to eat lunch after we picked a present for my little brother. I did finally use the men's restroom(felt like I looked pretty androgynous), which felt both bizarre but also kind of affirming(my friend is the only irl person I've told so far that I'm very much not cisgender).

"I'm at that awkward stage where it seems to be growing out more than down" - that is literally my life at the moment while I attempt to power through the 'awkward hair phase' of growing it out while my mum constantly wants me to cut it because "it doesn't look nice" - I wish she'd just wait a few months until it finishes the awkward phase! It could also be that she doesn't want to support my being trans. Anyway - thanks for the wholesome memes jamie and happy yester-birthday!

I've been growing mine out for a few years now, and there were definitely times during that awkward phase when my mom was telling me to get a haircut. The lockdown honestly helped cut down the frequency of these requests, so I only ended up getting the occasional trim to clean it up. These days, my hair is about 1/3 of the way down my back and she's mostly just saying to get a haircut to work a bit more style into it. Best of luck getting through this awkward phase! edit: If you haven't come out yet, you could also try using attractive, long haired, male celebrities as examples of making it look good. I'm having trouble thinking of anyone besides Momoa off the top of my head, but you can definitely find some good examples. On the other hand, my excuse was just that I grew bored with short hair. With straight hair and no product, it's kinda hard to try new styles. This mostly worked but I still got some nagging.

Jamie’s use of “something sheds during that time of the month” reminded me of when my friend described her period as “my uterus violently disemboweling itself”

As someone who’s never really understood love nor really felt any interest in it as an asexual aromantic I love videos like these because they show the friendship, caring, wholesome sides of relationships that I’m not used to seeing and I love those aspects of relationships because I can actually understand them! Great video!

I kinda wonder if we did shed our skin monthly, maybe adult acne would be a thing of the past...or we'd just have acne AND be shedding like we have psoriasis.
I consistently ruin my husband's grumpy image just by mentioning the random sweet/adorable things he does. Like last week when he got out of bed, saw both of the cats snuggling in his desk chair, went "aaaaw" and just looked at them for a while, then went to do something else instead of bothering them. 🥰
Homebase, Home Bargains are both 100% real British shops, dear Jamie. And your hair is borderline 90s boyband cute 🥰
Happy belated birthday! These videos are so cute. They definitely restore some hope in straight relationships.
I have a wholesome straight story from today!! My girlfriend and I (we're both pansexual but in a straight presenting relationship) were at a park with some swings and she was having trouble getting going on the swings due to her stomach acting weird so I asked her if she thought it would help if I pushed her and she said yes so I got off the swing I was on and started pushing her gently. She looked so happy ❤️❤️ Then I decided to try this swing that looked to be a bit higher up than all the others and once I managed to get on it my feet were like 5in from the ground (I'm 5'5 so I'm not exactly tall). My girlfriend noticed that I was having trouble getting going since I couldn't even reach the ground so she came and pushed me and it was so sweet ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So, I never practiced my smile for my wedding last October, however... On my wedding day one of the things that went wrong was that I, my wedding party, and my mom all forgot about my veil. It's a 200 year old family heirloom hand made by my 6th great grandmother, so it was kinda special that I got to use it, yet we forgot. Did my whole ceremony without it and only realized it was forgotten when my mom said something once the ceremony was over. (she realized when I was walking with my dad down the aisle but didn't want to interrupt) So during pictures we took some time to recreate my dad walking me with the veil in place. Thing is, since it was a recreation of the moment my smile was just like every other smile I have when smiling for pictures and you could really tell when comparing them to the in the moment smiles taken during the actual ceremony where I'm glowing. The raw emotion of moments really make a huge difference in a smile and display of happiness.
when i was in year 6 me and my friend convinced all the boys in our class that girls shed their skin every month and we thought that the other girls were going to deny and ruin it, but they all went along with it so half those boys went home genuinely thinking that girls shed 😭🤣 also, happy birthday jamie!!
You always make me laugh when you lose track of your intro and confuse yourself :,) "Who am I?" 😂😂
I don't gussy up when I go out. If people don't like that, too bad. I have the confidence I know many people can't. My motto is if people can't tolerate you at your worst look they aren't worth your time.
I watch both yours and Shaaba's videos, and hearing both of you tell the cereal and grapes story is just genuinely so endearing. I love how you're both so happy and comfortable with each other and it just shows
