Rick killing Shane was one of the most memorable moments in the series. But part of me wishing he was still alive. That he had a redemption arc and became the anti hero. I wish Negan had killed him instead of Glenn. Just imagine how differently things could've played out over the seasons, with Rick and Shane at eachothers throats. Their conflict over leadership and Lori's death, Carl and Judith...it would've given the show such a different and entertaining dynamic. Shane's death was the defining moment in making Rick a strong leader in the apocalypse. But just imagine if he was still around

It would be crazy if he was still around but we would never have gotten that important moment, Rick would never have become the man he is now. Shane's death was probably the biggest moment in TWD and I'm really happy with how they handled it. Everything with Shane was done to perfection and having him stick around longer would probably only ruin his character. We can now look back and appreciate how well it was done. But thinking about how it would be if he was still here is awesome :D Thanks a lot for watching!

nba_strictly _0 he was pretty heinous he killed Randal someone Rick and co just aced,killed Otis,released the walkers from the barn despite Hershel not wanting him to do that and he tried to rape Lori so just a villain to Rick is an understatement he is. Villain to Rick,Lori,Hershel,Ed,and in a way the Greene’s since he was the catalyst to many events leading to the destruction the barn and if he hadn’t acted so rash and not be a villain he barn would have had survived and the group would have been fine for a while but don’t forget he is a villain to himself he caused his own death, he could not step up as leader when it comes to killing Sophia and he wasted a lot of water on the highway

Can we all agree that Shane just adapted to the new world quickly and Rick is like Shane now?

Now this was damn awesome to see! Shane was one of the most pivotal characters on the show. He adapted to the world faster than anyone else and really pushed Rick to that survival stage. He was an amazing character and one of the better parts of the show!! This tribute definitely did him justice, awesome work on creating this phenomenal edit, it was a real pleasure to watch!! :D

screw you man, Shane is great. He's my favorite character in the show. I wonder how the show would've played out if Rick wasn't shot in first season, and experiences the outbreak, apocalypse and chaos and what if he didn't shot Shane in the ending of second season. Man, that's all im wishing for right now. To see them drop their guns each and just hug and return back to the farm alive and well. And the farm wouldn't even be overrun by walkers. That's all im wishing for. Oh and yeah, Lori wouldn't die... GOD DAMN YOU AMC, WHY DID IT HAD TO BE THIS WAY!? WHAT A CRUEL WORLD!!! D;

Short but sweet man.. I fucking love this! Incredible edit, Kekker. Really showed his sudden DROP into madness. Colouring: phenomenal as usual. Nice structure to this one. I agree to a point. I think the death of Shane finally made Rick the man he had to be in the apocalypse. Willing to not only make the right decisions but the hard ones.

God the show used to be so dramatic and horrifying, and the dialogue was good. Now it just feels so low budget even though the budget is much higher.

DAMM I MISS SHANE

Lori caused shane to flip shit and that’s what got him killed by Ricky. All in all WE lost a great character bc of Lori.

Nah he’s wasn’t the best leader. He was definitely ahead of everyone else as far of seeing things the way they were, but he was a hot head. He didn’t think before he reacted, and he really did put the group in danger a few times by his erratic behavior. Rick is a much better leader than Shane could ever hope to be. Rick is level headed, he calculates. Rick is also a master tactician. It just took him a little longer to see things the way they were. I’m not saying Shane wouldn’t have been a valuable asset. If Lori hadn’t gotten into his head he would been very valuable under Ricks leadership.

This is an awesome video! I adore Shane Walsh and you’ve done a fabulous job showing his story. Shane is a complex character who had to make a lot of difficult choices that the rest of the group didn’t make. He was so far ahead of everyone. I wish he had let go of Lori and had more love for himself than for someone who didn’t care nor appreciate him. Shane is and always be my favorite TWD character. Thank you for this beautiful tribute. Shane knew how to survive, everyone keep saying that Shane was too ahead of his time but not at all, he was prepared and the rest of them weren’t, Rick become Shane in a way where he don’t take chances with some damn strangers , sadly Rick had to lose ALOT of people before realizing it...

My favorite character since the beginning of the show. Everyone looked at him like he was a monster but they would've been dead if Shane wasn't here. He's gone too far with Rick but he will always be my fave.

Shane became unhinged because no one around him could or even would seriously wake up and understand the things that needed to be done truly survive the new world. In the grand scheme of things Shane was just ahead of his time and adapted much easier to the new world then those around him. Lori definitely didn’t help the situation constantly screwing with his head but overall he’s definitely been one of my favorite characters from the show since it’s creation.

I hate Lori for what she put Rick and Shane through, but Shane allowed himself to be manipulated by it, instead of letting it play out. Lori wasn't even that attractive really, in any way.

This video is great! I always wanted Shane to have a redemption arc and be an anti hero but I understand why he needed to die in order to give Rick that mind changing moment. But there’s always those fan fiction of Rick coming back to the beginning and I just wonder how Shane would react seeing his best friend who’s supposed to be nice and happy so cold and somewhat heartless. That would be interesting. This was an amazing video!

A lot of fans don't like Shane but I thought he was amazing. He already adapted to things and knew what to do. It took Rick killing Shane for Rick to become ready. Shane was a good guy but when you're up against Rick Grimes, you're always going to lose and be the anti-hero.
