I was in Seligman on May 4, 1996, it was a saturday, and met Angel, his wife Wilma and his late brother Juan (R.I.P. Juan) in Angel`s barber shop. I said to Angel that I come from Germany, Hamburg, and he corrected me and said "Ah - from Hamburg, Germany". I signed his guest book and hope that many Route 66 travellers and visitors will stop in Seligman and visit the small bypassed town and Angel Delgadillo. God bless, Angel and WIlma, real, true legends - angels of the beloved Mother Road.

I stopped in Seligman and needed a haircut. A friend had told me to got see Angel. I asked in the store and a lady called him and in about 15 minutes he rode up on his bike. Got my haircut and had a great conversation with Angel!

My very near new home... I can't wait I'm moving from the fast paced comifornia where life is about making the next buck and many live the "having the nicest things" type of lifestyle. I am just as guilty. It's time for a change. Time to live life instead of work through it and forget the experiences that I've gone through it. Time to stop and smell a rose or two and breath. Time to enjoy life instead of waste it away. I'm only 51 years old and have decided to do just what I said... not work as hard. Love my life. Love my wife and slow down and look around. I look forward to receiving any and all the lessons this gentleman would teach someone like me.... This video/commentary is outstanding. Very well done and I certainly appreciate you making it to show my new home town's history.

Lucky enough to meet angel last month on our 66 trip. As everyone else says a lovely genuine guy. Makes time for everyone and they can exchange pleasantries in 7 languages he said. They're up to guest book 54 now - told him they'll soon be up to number 66! Thank you angel for posing a photo and, unusually in this modern world, living up to the legend. Believe what you hear and make sure to stop off there one day soon :-D

Several years ago, I stopped by to see Angel and he came out of retirement albiet for a few hours and gave me a haircut and we chatted for a couple of hours. Angel is one if not the most genuine nice guys I have ever met in my travels around the world.

Thank you Angel, if it wasn't for you we would all be living a transient life style , collecting gov't handouts. I am sure glad you are so god-like and saved us.
