The constant internal struggles and divides was exactly how Epsilon came to become so powerful, and ultimately victorious - Yuri had exploited this constant infighting to allow himself to grow unopposed. Only when the free world was united (no matter their allegiances and politics) would they have stood a chance against Yuri and his infernal legions.

Funny that you mention this. Because I just realized one thing both Allied & Soviets have in common - their Asian counterparts are the problematic members of their respective factions.

Allied Commander :"Although I don't want to trust EA and PF, but we need unite if we want to release the free world of the Soviet." Soviet General :"Almost all High Command don't trust me so I blame them for their mistake and I continue operation in SSA." Yuri's Proselyte :"Nothing to worry, I will follow the order for the Great Yuri, again." Bro ended the video on a blueballing cliff hanger. The entire video was one giant Hypetrain

Man, that whole underground facility rescue-turned-raid with Yunru is pictured so epicly that i imagined a whole FPS game. Imagine a first person view as one of the elite chinese squad equipped with Desolator radiation gun and advanced weaponry, fighting through the facility against Alien yet human forces, and even that brain tank vehicle, watching as bits of the squad gets mind controlled against you as you choose to either disarm the tank by gunning your fellow squadmate or making a mad dash under your own allied fire to destroy the tank, then the climax is you staring down hordes of Hulks while Yunru extracts info. Thanks Psyminnete for this great retelling of the game's lore and props the devs and writers for making such a gripping story.

​@@konradoziom2225Mind controlling only bits of parts of the top brass of any faction would either result in meager effect as the mind-controlled can only do so much while following the other leaders to not blow their cover, or short-lived power as the other leaders would quickly turn their gun and power onto them. The human ego however. Primal, natural, predictable, most likely what Yuri relies on to control, like how the Chinese power chooses to mull over the Russian rather than vanquishing Yuri.

@@darkbrightnorth Yeah, I can see that. And also why US only had like 3 nuke in one base, while their satelite network still wasn't working. I would expect at least 2 bases, one in pacific side, other at atlantic side, so whole US could be in range.

And thus, Epsilon shall rise unaware that in obtaining the key of their victory, they unknowingly created an enemy that not even Yuri could imagine

Imagine if the whole series will be released and when it does, our mind will have the sensation to rewatch this whole series again and again due to it being PEAK story of a Science fiction of a RTS game. Truly a treasure only a few of us value. And lastly I figured that only high intelligent people can only enjoy and comprehend the beauty of Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 and Mental Omega.

Judging by the end of the vid, So this is where Yuri has officially has formed his army, the Epsilon Army. And now I get it of how the origins of Libra came to be, she was the psychic from that truck that Yunru was escorting before it got ambushed and Psi-Corps got their hands of it. And as for the rest, well now I know why Scorpion Cell had betrayed the Epsilon cause they treat them as tools not allies. So I'm guessing the next part of this lore is the Act 2 of MO, the Epsilon Era. Thing's are sure getting good! I can't wait for next time! ✨👍

I can imagine the enormous weight on her shoulders. Heck, anyone would feel the pressure, to know that you are probably the only person alone that can alter the future against a threat that no one else takes seriously until it's too late.

I remember playing Epsilon's last mission for Act 1. It has a very different feel like its, "all bets are off" feeling. Like never say die. Victory or death.

Thease videos are just a blast, and no one else makes lorevideos about a mod for very old strategy game. Here you have a cooment, have also a like.

and it makes sense (unlike Disney Star Wars) Here you had a group of people who rose to power through ambition, betrayal, and intrigue. They are opportunists at best and paranoid at worse. Success is not something to be rewarded, but instead a warning of an emerging threat to ones position, and every crisis is addressed as how one could extract the most benefit from it while deflecting any repercussions. These aren't great people that become stupid cowards just so that the main hero can show em up like a Mary Sue. These are people who's devoted their whole lives to feeding their ambitions being blind to critical details, and unable to see the big picture that doesn't have them in it.

I see what you did there... But yeah I can see an Act 4 where the Fohen calculates how many time loops have been made which all failed to stop the activation of the Mental Omega Devices which could result in the next force sent back coming to confusing blows such as Last Bastion attacking the US forces or Hailhead attacking Scorpion Cell.

this is probably one of the best lore art throughout the series. I also didn't expect that the time capsule campaign and the conversation between Yunru and Malver. Great job Psyminette on these 🔥🔥 Act 2 is just one step ahead oh mann!!

I gotta say that last chunk of the video where Epsilon were finishing to build their bases gave mе goosebumps. What an awsome content.

Wooooo that's what I've been waiting for, hell yeah! I love how, in stark contrast to actual playthroughs of the game (mine included) where it's just a blob or two or something similar happening, here the battles actually look really climactic and intense.

I have actually watched a lot of videos that tell the plot of MO and I think this series is the best I have ever seen for its comprehensive prospective. I love it so much that I check whether there is an update everyday lol

The nostalgia that comes from watching this video is simply fantastic. If you played the campaign, you begin to understand everything you did in the game from a much deeper perspective, congratulations on the work

Also, every time you mention the time gaps between missions/operations, I'm surprised. I didn't realize how much time lapses between the various missions, except that one Allied mission that explicitly states "Several weeks later".

It's quite peaceful. Because all sides were in stalemate. And only some skimish only. Until clost to two year with the battle become more and more frequence.

Imagine if the Allies kept Volkov and Chitzkoi and had backups of their Cyborg data in Archetype -Allies have Cyborgs, Terror Drones, Robot Tanks and Knightframes at the start of WW3 -Epsilon and Soviets take much more casualties. Scorpion Cell makes an alliance with the Allies instead

Less than a year. Yunru learned of Yuri's insidious research and goals in 1983. Epsilon surfaces in 1984, exactly (or even less than) 1 year later.

A new wind is picking up

The Epsilon bases being built and getting a small glimpse of The Tower at the end are so fucking good.

If not for the Soviet Union, Yunru would've never been able to counter her main opponents in both Act II and Act III.

it's really worth mentioning the easter egg in time capsule chapter, there Yunru need to face her hardest decision in an illusion, the two rails and the tomb yard, that's one of the most meaningful easter eggs in the campaign missions

this was arguably the most awesome episode yet, I'm excited for the second act of this series!

I like your cutscenes and best is scenes of base-building, which shown at the end, so perfect

Before going into this one I am going to say this probably going to be my favorite one

Enjoying every moment of your videos,the on point sound mixing ,using the in game music based on the faction you are currently telling the story about, the addition of the in-game scripts and cutscenes to present the story's most important events from each mission,even using in game footage of your gameplay. RA series is already based on typical cliches, sci fi stuff and character types done better so it fits by the base concept.

They are AI generated. An artist friend helped polish up the one used for the thumbnail. Mostly just fixing the hair as she has quite a unique hairstyle

I really like how you ended up using settings from future missions and the bases still being in an incomplete state compared to the ones we faced during the missions a a sign of what's to come. I'm so excited to see how you do Act 2... and more over, how you address the unit spam fiasco, considering it's hard to put units in formation and have them move as such.

Damn.... the ending part really gave me a good chill and made me want to see the next part even more than ever I know I played it and finished it (except coop) but this is a whole new experience
