The Story of Jameson Williams: Why The Lions Need To Feed Him More

Jameson Williams in an NFL wide receiver for the Detroit Lions. He was born in St. Louis Missouri and went to Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School where he excelled in football and track. His entire family are track stars. His parents actually met on their high school track team. Despite his father’s wishes for him to attend Alabama, he went to Ohio State. Ohio State is loaded with wide receivers and Jameson Williams felt like he wasn’t being utilized. So he ended up finishing his college career with the Crimson Tide where he absolutely showed off his skills. During their game against Georgia is the National Championship game, Williams tore his ACL. He then declared for the NFL draft where he was picked 12th overall by the Detroit Lions. In his rookie season, he mostly recovered from his injury, however, he did show a few glimpses of what he is capable of. Then during the offseason, he was suspended for breaking the NFL’s gambling policy. He was suspended for four games. When he returned he struggled a bit catching the ball. People started to speculate that he might be a bust. Now, he’s starting to show that he is an absolute game changer and he’s fully embraced the Detroit Lions…and they seemed to have embraced him. Enjoy the video. Cheers!

His attitude was one of the first things that jumped out at me after seeing him react to a video of himself scoring a TD (against the Bucs i think). You can tell that he loves to play football just by looking at him. That kind of energy can only help a locker room.

How many people knew he was from a family of track stars, and when two fast people have kids, he's running 4.2 in highschool!! That's evolution, which partly explains his remarkable speed. There's a blog called it's 2easy, and they've shown footage from were their sitting, down near the field. And when you see Jamo run from that level ( not the TV broadcast level) he speed is staggering. Everyone else is about 25%slower, so as he develops, look out. You can't teach speed....but maybe you can breed it.
