Loved it man. My hometown. The interest you have in the rich and proud history of the land is really amazing. The enthusiasm with which you were asking, explaining hits the right cord. This is probably the best and the most informative video I have seen about the battle of Pratapgadh. Saw those bird eyes views for the first time, been on those roads hundreds of time. What a beauty. First of all a big salute to the heroic, exemplary, outstanding and inspiring legend, father of Indian navy, son of Maharashtra and king of our hearts Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Many many thanx to you for brings such a good video on good platform like KZread and hope we could see some more like this reveling the pages of history of Maharashtra as well as India. We have so much to see in our nation but we explore other countries more. ( Nothing wrong in that but let's understand our history first so that when we go out we can share and invite other to visit ours) Secondly I am very happy u have brought ur mom along to see such a wonderful fort near a chilling hilltop destination like mahabaleshwar I hope she has enjoyed the mouth water strawberries and some delicious snacks at mapro garden. I know at such historic destinations in Maharashtra we don't have fancy marble carvings like in Rajasthan Palaces, touristy shops or fine restaurants or AC lounges nearby But what we have is a real history which inspires us, motivates us and gives us strength to fight in difficult times. This makes such destination 'must visit kind of' for all age groups and not just for students. I personally prefer trekking forts over visiting fancy tour destinations. I am very thankful to you for such a good video. Hope to see some more in near future. One suggestion If u can give idea on a map how u reached from where u took the flight or train then how u travelled to the place along with a rough expenditure ( kind of animated) it will help other tourist to understand the location, how to reach, timeline etc and will help to inspire more people like u and me. Thanx once again. A Desi by soul 😊
