The Grade I listed Brompton Cemetery is the well-loved resting place of over 200,000 people, a haven for wildlife and a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
Nestled among the spectacular trees and undergrowth are over 35,000 gravestones and monuments. The cemetery is alive with the amazing stories of all the people buried there since the 1830s, including some well-known names like Emmeline Pankhurst and John Snow.
It remains a working cemetery to this day, with a dedicated staff arranging burials and services in its magnificent chapel.

Bell cimetero !I took lots of pictures of the Angels in the Brompton cemetery! it does looks like San Peter square in Roma which is where i live now !actually you have forgotten to mention the squirrels which i use to feed while i was living in London in 2003 !I miss London and i miss you people whit love Francesco! By the way it is a very peacefull place !
