The Story of Bandy: Our Pet Raccoon
On a spring evening, my mom came home with a baby raccoon. I couldn't believe it! She was sooooooooo cute. My little sister quickly bonded with her new furry friend. I was away for the summer and didn't have the chance to spend much time with this little creature, but every moment was precious. She's very intelligent, super funny and playful. These are videos and shots that we took of her during the 4 months she stayed in our home. ENJOY & SPREAD THE CUTENESS!!!

Wish she has a good life in nature! Thank you for taking care of her ❤ I believe you all will stay in her memories.
YES, RACCOONS ARE SUPER-INTELLIGENT AND SWEEET. LET'S NOT ALLOW THEM TO STARVE AND FREEZE TO DEATH IN THE WILDS. THANK YOU GUYS FOR THIS VIDEO
They are just amazing little creatures. Lovely dog, as well. Animals add so much to our lives.
What a Sweet Angel Baby! Love and Millions More Blessings to Bandy xoxo
♡We raised 2 orphan cubs when I was young...maybe a few years younger than you. Rocky & Ricky went everywhere with us! The family brought them to pick me up from summer camp, when we went to our cousins for holidays (4 hrs in the car). 40 years later they still hold a dear place in my heart, and I can still mimic their chatter! When they got to large for their pet carrier, we built a pen outside for nighttime. They were missing one morning...we think someone stole them for their pelts. There's no way they could have moved and so carefully placed the 40 lb (20 kg) iron grate blocking the opening.
0:35 that explosion after I read she burned the house down, made my jaw drop for a second lol 😂😂😂...you guys got me for a second😅.
So cute! Love love racoons! How lucky to have been able to raise from a baby! I have 2 in my bald cypress tree! Thank you for sharing 🐾❤
Another beautiful story of love between a raccoon and people. ❤ Raccoon pets bring so much happiness and joy!
Wish your video had more exposure, adorable raccoon. They're such smart little guys.

Oh I'd LOVE a raccoon! They are so adorable & funny & mischievous :) I'd love one but we don't have raccoons in the UK. However I have 5 cats & they are so adorable & funny & mischievous (& annoying at times) too.

From Russia with love!)

Лучшее видео!!! My friends also found a little raccoon in the old tree she was nearly frozen to death, for several months they have been raising her, I also participated in that process when they were on vacation. The same, when Lucky became bigger and started causing a lot of troubles, they gave her to the center from which she is going to be released to the nature. And I was so attached to her personality I wanted to cry. until today I missed her so much 😀.....

I LOVE RACCOONS SO MUCH!!!!!!!! I see you speak russian, I do too!!
Also had a pet raccoon named Bandi for female bandit. If we had a drink with ice she would put her paws in it and pull the ice cubes out with them being cold she would mash them with her paws they would slide across the floor she would chase it once it melted she would really get frustrated and run over and check our hands and pockets thinking we had taken and hidden them from her and we would be punished with her bites,had opened paint cans had different colors of Raccoon paw prints all over the house. Ate all the other pets we had,fish,alligator,lizards,snakes,mice,birds,rabbits they are really good with their hands and opened all the other cages and terrarium and aquariums, all in one night! They belong in the wild!

centerof theearth no problem with viruses, she does her thing outside or in a corner she chose of the house, she had no cage, she slept with my sister in bed lol
How do u get a pet raccoon?! I need this info!! 😂
They’ll follow you everywhere when they’re young. But they grow out of it and become independent.
Too many people are trapping them.
So adorable :) , does your mom speak Russian? you sound like an American girl 2 me lol, Im from New jersey U.S.A. i have over a dozen wild Raccoons come 2 my bedroom window for peanutbutter sandwitches every night for about 2 years now :)

Alyssa I live in Ontario I found this young one in my yard one night. It could hardly walk. So I fed it with a sponge at first then a bottle. Anyway I was walking it down to a stream letting him forage he was doing well. Then the other day I thought hes ready or I was ready for him to go on his own. I released him back. I come home from doing that and little while later I get paid a visit from Wildlife Conservation. They wanted the raccoon . I told them I released him but I dont think they believed me but I did. Anyway I was read the riot act about its against the law to harbour wildlife and the I should have left him alone. Let nature take its coarse, I thought we as Humans were part of Nature but I guess not in the eyes of wildlife.And how the cross contamination from my pets and people that we can all get sick blah blah. But I didnt know you could be charged with a crime for taking care of an wild animal. But they are lots of fun and just as much trouble as you probably know.

NO :( Even Alyssa is not with us any more:(
Alyssa = no creature belongs to wild. Good life is a one way street. It is the owners fault to let that little thing go free in the house and destroy things.If he had his own room...and summer times go to backyard....it would have been fine with him ( trust me on that).As long as he gets food, shelter and peace = his 24/7 life circle is completed... In the wild he can get the same thing ( minus stress) except he needs to work for it.
@Alyssa949

I see your point. It's debatable, I personally prefer releasing it into the wild. Nature feels more natural not only for him but also for me, don't you think? Sure we have trees and parks around here, but it's nothing like a forest.
@canadapainter658

Alyssa= I did not mean to throw him out and never let him back in. I was saying, to let him go if you want to but as soon as he returns.... take him in for good....( just remember; every creature lives a one way street)...and trust me as soon as peace and food is there they found their life vs. getting it with stress and agony.
