Even I am getting rain anxiety, and I don't even drive or ride. But taking the bus /taxi/auto is going to get even worse now. The only good season in Mumbai is the winters. Not to cold, but clear and breezy.

A suggestion Anurag. If you just buy a high quality fabric protector spray, that will be enough to protect your seat, and maybe even your jacket. Good fabric protectors even make the surfaces waterproof. Riding in the rain can be really enjoyable if you don't worry about the damage to your precious pyaarelal and gear.

🤣🤣🤣I could now relate someone as paranoid as me when it comes to cleanliness of the bike. You just gave the perfect example of slowing the bike down after seeing water or slush on the road ahead to avoid it spinning through the tires and falling all over the bike. Such madness 😅 You just vlogged on you way back to home and made it so interesting and relatable 😅 love you vlogs brother 🫶

I have the same issue with water spinning off the wheel and getting my bike dirty, and a solution I've found is carrying a microfibre rag with me in my bag. After my journey, I wipe the bike down (if it's already wet from the rain) which gets rid of most of the dirt since it hasn't dried yet. After wiping, I take the rag home, rinse it a little, and keep it out to dry. Makes the bike look way nicer for the next ride. P.S. I start with the painted areas, and move lower and lower on the bike, so that I'm not taking dirt and scratching the paintjob.

It's about the little pleasures of life brother. Don't look at the rain as the end of the world. Yes ofcourse it sucks to ride in the rain in tight traffic but it's a part of the bigger package when it comes to riding. Embrace it fearlessly. The more you dread of it the more mental anxiety it'll give you. Just think of it this way, irrespective of what the weather is be it scorching heat, heavily raining or shivering cold, you will arrive at your destination at the planned time. Obviously expections being thundering clouds and lightning and heavy gusts of wind when it's raining, that shit is sketchy. Bit other than that just remember why we love riding. Each season brings its own flavours to riding. Like vanilla is winter, butterscotch is summer and strawberry is rainy. I don't really like the third one bit hey it's an icecream Sunday and you can't really complain. Just finish the damn icecream bro. Jokes aside ride safe brother. PS, what's a bike without a bit of mud and dirt, adds to the essence and asthetics.
