The Storm Hit Shinjuku, Tokyo. And Walked Around After That.

I wasn't expecting the wind to blow this hard. I got stuck in the storm, and so walked around Shinjuku after it passed through.

ando1135 The chirping sound is on a lot street lights around the world for the visually impaired people so they know when it’s safe to cross the street. I’ve heard that chirping sound in different places I’ve been to around California.

Jeanette Marie the one in Japan sounds different. @ando1135 I too miss the signal sound s and the platform announcement sounds in Japan. I think it is the Yamamoto line that each station has their own bird noise sound, if I’m not wrong. There are some KZread videos that record the in-carriage announcement of the Yamanote line. When I miss Japan, I would watch those videos :)

We're on our last few days in Shinjuku before returning to the U.S. and awoke to that storm outside of the Citadines Central Hotel. Today (Saturday) was completely different: sunny and very pleasant. During the rainstorm Friday, remembered you bike tour of Musashi-montana. So we went there and enjoyed a day in the covered shopping street. We even bought yakitori from the same stand you bought from... was delish! Love all your videos.

I really hate to fly, it took all my nerves to be calm just to fly to Hawaii last year to celebrate our 25th Anniversary (actually been to Hawaii several times and I’m glad my husband keeps me calm lol).. but I always wanted to go to Tokyo and I know that’s a much longer plane ride from California but I have to just know I have to get over my fears if I want to travel abroad more.. Tokyo looks so amazing and fun! Every street you walked through, I want to go into those shops or restaurants. I heard the Summers there are too hot and high humidity, so maybe Spring or Fall will be better to be there... Thank you for sharing! 😁💖
