Awesome beautifull sharing👍
Thank you so much for this great video - and the wonderful description of Ruby by her owner. I've loved the Bristol RELH-ECW coach ever since travelling in them from Yorkshire to London as a child - everything about this coach epitomises the art of smooth relaxed travel. At a time when - for me at least - Plaxton and Duple were producing designs reminiscent of garish mobile juke boxes more suited I thought for seaside 'mystery tours' - the RE-ECW was a masterpiece of restrained elegance, it's design exuded power yet friendliness - a 'serious' coach perfectly suited for long distance travel. Oooh - I'm just imagining being cosseted in those oh so comfortable seats, listening to the relaxing whine as it clicks into 5th and the miles glide by!
What a great video thank you

Like you I too have happy memories of travelling on Bristol RE's as a child - for me it was from Yorkshire to London on either 'United' or 'West Yorkshire Road Car's vehicles - your recollection of them being 'very comfortable, quiet and smooth' is so true.....I remember listening to that relaxing whine as it clicked into 5th as we glided past other traffic and the miles slipped by whilst sitting in seats unmatched in any modern coach!

Hi Jonathan, a viewer of this video left a comment, wanting to see Ruby in action. I have provided him the link to your KZread channel. Perhaps next time when you come toward this direction (Bournemouth or nearby area), we can make another video, with Ruby in action? Many thanks...

@@hellowallace Hi, I have submitted an entry to be at the Bournemouth Bus Rally again in 2023, so hopefully see you there and we can do a video of Ruby on the move. Are you based in Bournemouth or Winchester?
Any chance of a video of Ruby in action?
