Im unlocking the stg right now so this video is is perfect timing so i know to keep up the grind.

I have started saying KOBE after every time I throw a grenade because I watch Quadro too much.

I love how the STG just chugs along like in real life shooting. They did a good job on thatm

Great video as always! I would personally suggest you to use some voice mods in your video. Since you already use Bigote's sound mod. I downloaded one of those for every faction in the game (barring Italy I guess) and they seem to enhance the experience for me in a major way.

Unlocked this gun within the first few weeks of playing the game, has been brilliant being able to jump straight into BR5 stuff without the long stupid grind (currently 71% win rate in BR5👍😎)

Agreed Only problem with BR III is you can still meet BR IV and V

fun fact: Hitl... despised the stg44 and the whole concept of an assault rifle, he believed that it should be bolt action rifles like Kar98ks as well as submachine guns spcifically the MP40. He believed that instead of a weapon that could do both range and close quarters, there should be weapons that whre designed for indevidual ranges, e.g. bolt actions for long range, mp40s for close range. It is believed that if he had liked the mkb (the early version of the STG which had a prototype in 1941) that the STG would have been put into service way before 1944.

thats due to his experience in WW1, where battles were slower paced and usually at longer ranges. a rifle like the k98 is perfect at 300 yrds. but, his biggest issue with the rifle was the full auto option. he felt that it would encourage troops to just spray and pray. which they do by the way. thats the reason the M16 is a burst fire rifle now instead of full auto. the stg was produced in secret and sent into the field. Once he saw how well it performed, he fell in love with it. by then, it was too late to mass produce. where it was present though, it had noticeable impact on the battle.

I’m pretty sure it was more a logistical thing rather than him not liking the design. Germany had heavy shortages of about every material required to make weapons and using new more complicated designs that haven’t been proven in prattle yet and use way more materials and use a different ammunition than everything else that was already in service seems like it would overcomplicate things

Ammunition especially, one of the biggest issues in ww2 for all armies is they had so many different guns with so many different types of ammo that it really hindered the capabilities of armies to keep troops supplied. Hell even in individual squads some soldiers couldn’t swap magazines with their buddies when they were low on ammo

Rarely! The problem with losses is that they are typically really uninteresting. It’s mostly just me desperately trying to take an objective while 8 members of my team are inexperienced or bots. Me getting killed 15 times while ending on the first objective is just not that good for content. I do upload the occasional interesting loss that’s typically a loss at the very last objective or so. Alternatively, my livestreams have me losing too lol

western allies in top tier are formidable that's if there is communication though like 4 players typing in chat then they crush the Germans most of the time its still suffering but there are only 3 things that the America has that really go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that being P-47 and m2 carbine and browning 1919A6

@@tar244you8 Why? Trying to find me and use me as fodder? LOL. J/K. I play BR2 for Japs and Russians, BR3 for Americans and BR5 for Germans. Don't get me wrong - I play well often times, but watching Quad is like a mortal watching Jesus play. I mean how does he not get shot? I confess he has cat-like reflexes, but it's him standing and mowing down everyone and usually succeeding without death that stuns me, and we don't see him getting wasted as he runs from the spawn to the battle. Half the time I am crushed somewhere from the spawn to trying to get to a firing position. I get he edits his videos, but still, in this video he had 155 kills and only lost 10 squads. I can lose 8 squads and only get 40-50 kills. I play under CZ_P-01, so if ya see me, don't shoot me....😁
