What was the top speed you reached during this run?

Never seen the cockpit view before. That was intense and a lil scary. You boys weren't playing AT ALL. Serious power

The info I got was 180 with only 3000hp. I wonder if this run was its last before it caught fire...

I realize this is a few years late, as I just happened across this video, but the spelling of the Turbine manufacturer is "LYCOMING", not "Lyncome". Lycoming has been in business since the mid-1800's; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycoming_Engines

This catamaran may be the safest twin hull boat ever built. I wish people who have the money(I don't) would put in orders for them.

They do have high pitch whines though and that can be very hard on the ears. Best to wear ear protection in turbine boats.

If someone gave me that boat free , I could not afford it ......

BEAUTIFUL boat BUT in my opinion turbine engines are for jets. We own a 50’ cigarette AMG with two 572 BIG BLOCK CHEVY’S 1,500 hp each. Rather listen to them. STILL A BEAUTIFUL boat though👍👍👍

I'd rather be on a 251 Checkmate at 90 mph...not because it's cheap either...just a lot more exhilarating!

Getting pounded around, a 100 MPH windblast, & a pair of turbines howling in my ears....fun?, get a helicopter, same sound sorta, a little slower, about the same price but without the battering.

@@dieseldog00 Air-suspension cockpits?....a half-hearted solution for a problem that can easily be rectified...stop trying to do 150+ on the open Ocean. Go right ahead & have your self described "fun"....I'd rather get beaten in a boxing ring, but that's me .Lawyers, politicians & the well to do...where can we waste our monies now?
