The forces wouldn't be so bad if the offensive AI player was doing something to get open, rather than the defensive AI just deciding to take a stroll up the ice for no reason. Getting rid of AI goalie poke checks would also be great.

@@KaySwiss21 I'd say about 25% of the goals I give up my goalie is still on the other side of the net because they tried to poke check a cross crease pass and missed it.

I honestly think 80% of the time it's actually TOO easy to score on the goalie... Especially when you factor in the full pressure mechanic

@@KaySwiss21 I understand it's a tough balance. You don't want it hyper realistic because games would all be 1-0 or 2-1, but I'd like to not see goals go in where if have to wonder if the defense and goalie just recieved a lobotomy.

The problem with the defensive AI on forced crease passes is also that there is no difference between a 74 rated D and a 90. Def awareness seems to have no impact on the ability to defend the passes but it should. I would get it if you could get the pass through on weaker defensemen but even the new 90 teambuilders suck at defending it. The only defense is to take out the player receiving the pass (which is even more stupid) and anytime you miss, it's a goal. In the middle divisions (3 and 4) you often face players who know no other way of scoring, you see it coming a mile away, and you still give up goals.

Ea should give every dman gold quick pick for 2 points. Icon Nikolas Lindstrom is pretty good with cross crease passes but no players have the ability other than a couple of usable players!!! I got all 88 dmen and I use most points to get all the players shutdown and quick stick on but it still doesn’t matter. Go get Lindstrom max him out at 88 and equip his zone ability and I’m sure that will help with one d pair!!

The crazy thing is, if you play SB on superstar, that cross crease pass 99% never works. The AI defence manages to get a stick on it almost EVERY time.

As of now, there are some definite things that need to be tweaked in the game. Constantly finding myself losing pucks or not making wide open passes when my open can come down, get through 4 checks and hit a covered cross crease goal.

Cross crease is so so stupid. Players skating into each other and ai not moving drives me crazy as well. Also you would think 89 jack Eichel xfactor is great but I put him out and he takes a bump and he is beat out ,then I have to change the entire line. 83 endurance on such a good player is unbelievable!! They need to turn down the hitting and how much energy you lose when getting hit. It is easily the worst sports game to play by far when talking game physics and how it looks and plays. It should be called nhl jam because nothing is realistic about the franchise we all want to love again!!

Gold quick pick will stop the cross crease. Silver quick pick works also but you need to be controlling that defender. Ea needs to give more defenders quick pick

Quick pick should just be a counter to tape to tape like it would intercept those pass as well, you shouldnt need any x factor to intercept normal passes
