A lot of potential names bubbling about throughout the flyweight division. I believe the UFC can really churn out a market with Women's Flyweight, and if I'm thinking this; I'm certain they've already thought of it. Maybe that's why all these fight announcement spilled out simultaneously. I like it.
All of the women's divisions need to move forward - and at a decent clip in my opinion.
Overall, what they have booked is solid. Regardless of the outcomes of these fights, they setup the division until summer of 2025 from what I can see.
I don't like Erin having to fight back down. It kind of feels like she's getting a surprise out of nowhere that was a short-ended stick.
Valentina's reluctance to fight in Las Vegas for September at the Sphere is especially concerning to me. If you notice when it's discussed...Noche isn't brought up any more. I don't understand why. This division isn't far behind the Women's Bantamweight division in needing some clarity and marketability.
They have to meet in the middle; and under TKO - I believe they are moving in that direction.
