This film was incredibly challenging to shoot, freezing temperatures mixed with extreme smog. We got sensor damage on the camera in the first few hours of shooting and it just kept getting harder and harder to film in these extreme conditions. Luckily, Baysaa helped us push on to bring you a glimpse of the State of Skateboarding in Mongolia.

I was out in Kazan for work once and noticed a perfect waxed ledge. Really wanted to go back their with my board and see what the local scene was like....This has inspired me!

Parks are a great place to learn for sure, but at least you have tons of banks to skate in Ulaanbaatar. Amazing city!

as opposite to UB, I can find skate park in Jakarta quite easily, but not the case with the wide and cool public flatground like in that. oh, and with worst air quality. this is the first video I've watched when I was looking into skateboard in Mongolia. unique and intriguing video, man.

Thank you for watching Benji. I actually hate skateparks, so it was great for me in Ulaanbaatar, especially the water drainage banks all over town. Yeah the air sucks, but the awesome people make up for it.

Jefferson Elliott that’s awesome, do you go there regularly? Didn’t realize there are so many great vegan places there haha. I’m a skater and my parents are living there so I’ve been multiple times and plan on going back when it opens again. Will bring my board this time

@@adamklecheski9048 there are tons of vegan places. I was worried about what I would find to eat as a vegetarian, we had no issues with restaurants except vegetables in the markets were pretty limited, but considering the location its understandable. Thanks for watching. Like/share/sub.
