I think when I started watching there were less than 20,000 subscribers. I remember writing back then that people were watching the channel not so much to learn about using containers to build, but because of the beautiful way the two work together. And it doesn’t hurt to hear her laughter either. I think my comment then is still true today and is why the channel has grown so much. Anyone else agree?

I'm not sure, but i think the ranch land is owned by Spencer's grandpa, maybe. it might be getting used for the ranch again, now that they are in the house. but otherwise yeh i would fix up the barn and use it for the equipment if i had access to it. it already has power too.

You guys need to put in a tornado shelter. Your area is starting to see more and more of them. It would be awesome to see you guys put a container underground, and do it that way. My wife and I love your content. Great job on everything you guys have accomplished.

Containers cannot be buried, the weight of the soil will collapse them from the sides-the corners are the only part of the structure that are load bearing. And the constant moisture environment would make rust control a nightmare

True, but I live in Texas and sometimes underground doesn't always work here, due to the soil, but Texas is a big state and has lots of varying soils. Just a comment. I'd love to do some underground stuff, but no way where I am.

I always enjoy your videos but this one was most excellent. The Tractor Carport was excellent trial and error got it Done. It was precious to see Cam Climb up with you and Kens and start crying when you took him out. Thank God for the tractor to pull the broken vehicle back to the house. Of course Beau saying I have no swimsuit to go into the water just goes to show how you instruct your children how to live properly. Of the Kens sitting on your lap in the tractor was a hilarious segment. Thank for such an excellent video and until the next one be blessed this week.

Blessings and nuff love you guys had me laughing at the time. Makenzie your one of a kind
you are the luckiest man on earth, a great family, house, and wife that gets involved, and not afraid to get her hands dirty..
I assembled a versatube shelter maybe 15 years ago for my utility tractor. I mounted it to railroad ties to raise it up off of the ground and give it some added weight. So far, the wind hasn't moved it or torn it up. I later had a shed built, so now I use it to keep firewood out of the weather. I'm happy with it.
Poor little Cam between the mud bath and the shortening of his tractor ride, he is so cute. And of course Beau is beautiful.
Aw Cam Bless his little heart his face was adorable.and Beau telling her Daddy to be carefull.that was a enjoyable video.full of laughter.lovley smiles.but still getting the hard work done.love from England.🌹🌹
So proud of the two of you for finding a solution to putting that carport together!
what lucky kids to have parents that have the most pure love for one another. It’s honestly beautiful
Seems like with a new roof, it's a perfect opportunity to add some more water tanks to catch that new water that'll be flowing off the roof. Either for backup to pump into your existing system or water for a vegetable garden and chook pen combo... 🤔
You two make hard work look like fun ! And the fun pays of as your surrounded by all your achievements and the wonderful memories. XX
I remember you two trying to restore the barn. When the snakes started showing up, I about panicked for you two. You both have worked so hard. You've grown your channel and a sweet little family. I can't believe how time has flown by. ❤
🦋 your daughter is the sweetest little soul. “ be careful daddy is water” I love how she’s conscious of everyone’s safety. Well, that was an eventful video full of little cliffhangers. Shame that barn you had wasn't large enough to protect earlier.. Only concern I have is that pine tree has the most shallow tap root and will be the first to lift from bad weather or saturated ground. Hope the carport serves you well.

Don’t root systems of pine trees vary based on the species and soil type?
@revdupartist9386
Жыл бұрын
Pines have taproots in soil that has decent drainage. Taproots keep the tree stable and keep it from falling over in the wind. However, if the soil doesn't have good drainage (we don't know which kind of soil they have) then the root system spreads out a bit in an attempt to get nutrients. I don't know what kind of wind they get there, but I don't think the tree will fall over.

Team work! 😊 You guys are awesome. Good choice to build a shelter for the Tractor. Once the cabin is done, maybe Spencer could build himself a small shop, so he can do stuff even when the weather is crappy. Love you guys! Beau's vocabulary is increasing, she sounds so grown up for a little person 💖 See ya next week! 🌻😎
You two are extra-strength silly, havin' fun out on the property! Blessings to you both. And to those precious two little ones. Cam Gram
Buy acf50 for your tractor. You can either get it in an aerosol or a liquid and apply it with a paintbrush. It was developed by the air force to protect the planes from corrosion but it can be used on any vehicle. Cars, bikes, etc.. just be careful not to get any on your brakes/tyres. You can also coat the electrics with it. It's fantastic stuff.
My 2 cents here. I would have poured a slab or at least graded & put down a rock or DG base under the shed. Those continuous base rails will rust out from the bottom up sitting on the ground. I know they appear to be galvanized, but that's only a cheap, thin electroplating.
You guys make everything look like so much fun when it really is stressful. You are amazing thats what I love about you. Thank you for this new exciting build
I love seeing your family growing and all your interactions. The babies are really growing a lot. I can recall when it was just the two of you and then you added to your family with fur babies and eventually with the children. He was not happy about the mud, but his expression was priceless 😆
I hope that carport gets anchored to the ground in some way. Those storms you have around there will blow it away!
be sure to anchor to the ground, later on you can create a concrete base
🙋♀️❤ Despite the mud, everything looks beautiful ! Happy Spring!🌞🌱🌈
5:39 That is seriously the most adorable and most beautiful baby cow I’ve ever seen!!! And I live in KY, so I see a LOT! ❤️❤️❤️
I would've carpentered up a holding jig for the grapple or forks to raise the truss height a couple of feet. Then you could've used the lift power to go all the way up to assemble. Just a thought.
I love your videos so much, it’s like watching a romcom! You guys are amazing! The mud all over your little guy made me giggle. ❤️❤️❤️

Hello 👋 how are you doing??
15:00 the tractor ride was funny. "This is something out of a country song, right here." Love it. 😀
Stewart, I have been watching you and Mackenzie since before your first container was delivered and have loved every minute of it. But when you started your tractor up while standing on the ground it sent a chill through me. I have worked with large tractors and even larger heavy equipment for over 25 yrs. and my own tractors much longer than that. Starting a tractor from the ground is one of the most dangerous things you can do. I personaly know someone who was run over by his tractor by starting it from the ground. He was lucky, his tractor was not as large as yours and he survived with only a few broken ribs. Please do a little research and find out just how many people have been killed by starting a tractor from the ground. I would really like to see what you and your young family do for as long as you care to share it with us. Take care.
