0:17 why is dahyun so pretty seoeyeon saying she sat apart from them because they were given freedom to live where they choose was so freaking funny, especially given the negative korean wav reactions to that announcement. she either doesn't care or doesnt give a shit about fanning the flames and i love that for her. natural comedian (and of course she follows that with the iconic "about modhaus?")

@@endyj9423 it was announced in a signal that members are allowed to live outside the dorms (so with their families, presumably) during periods when they're not promoting comebacks, if they want to. 2 or 3 members had decided to do so. there was a pretty strong backlash from korean fans online commenting that they dislike this and it shouldn't be allowed, with the reasoning usually being that not living together will ruin the dynamic of the group and/or decrease content for signals. (at least one person expressed their anger in person at a signing event by turning around and ignoring a member when it was their turn to speak, but it was mostly an online backlash.) of course that's a generalization since korean wavs can disagree with the majority opinion and you can find non-korean fans who also don't like this policy. but the general trend was korean wavs being anti the new policy and international fans being pro modhaus made it pretty clear they're not backtracking the policy and things moved on. it seems to me that the backlash has died down as time passed, but maybe the wav circles i'm in just stopped talking about it

@@endyj9423 they do have 3 separate apartments that they live in so it isn't as though they are all in one but i do get how sharing a room with 3 other girls could be a lot when you have a choice to just live with your parents

Now im still binge watching signal, just arrived at kaede teaser, so I had more or less some understanding on how the acommodation split works. Thank you for attempting to educate me in this matter!
