I didn’t until my Family in the UK told me about it and I got to watch some episodes. Enjoy both versions of Ghosts, UK and US.

@@dianehopkins9015I’ve lost count of the amount of really great comedies that ended up going on and on and on until they ran out of ideas and became a shell of what they once were. Plenty of shows ended because the creators felt that it was better to go out when people still loved it - on a high as it were - and always having memories of it at the top of its game. Every show has a shelf life. This is why Cleese and Booth decided only to do two series of Fawlty Towers. This is exactly the reason why Ghosts is coming to an end, as Matt Baynton says in this interview. I’ve also read interviews with the Them There team where they’ve said that they are getting older and can’t realistically keep playing ghosts that aren’t supposed to age. Which makes perfect sense.

Charlotte Richie is one of the good young actresses to come out of Britain…it broke my heart when her character Barbara died in Call the Midwife…another pearler of a show Britain has made.❤️🇦🇺🇦🇺

I’m so upset it’s stopping I grew up with this lot from horrible histories to now, I hope they do more projects together

I knew it. A Christmas special . I did binge watch the last series, i kind of knew that it could not end like that. I am looking forward to it. One of the best series ever. I would love to live in a house like that.

This show was one of the best to come out in a long long time.

Poor Matt. Intelligent and articulate and having to suffer such dumb interviewing.

The Welsh one was so vapid I just could see all 3 just trying to get through it. Wish networks would stop doing this

My wife, 14 year old daughter and I can’t get enough of this show. But unfortunately for us here in the States Ghosts only went up to series 3 on Max (HBO) and has been removed all together. We are beyond bummed that we have NO access to this show anymore. We’re hoping one day it can return. In all due respect to the American version (that is doing well), we tried but just couldn’t get into it. The BBC original is the one and only in our household. Sad we can’t see it in it’s entirety. We love every character even Barclay Beg-Chetwynde. 😅😅

They have some of the episodes on Paramount +. I prefer the British series too. I found the later season on dailymotion but it is a glitchy website.

One of my favorite shows of all time, so sad to see it go but so happy it was here. Rip to such a legendary show. ❤️

How can those two presenter not know the back story of what can easily be considered the best comedy drama so far of the 21st Century, even the US version is watchable !

Love Ghosts it’s one of the best shows on tv. The blonde host is appalling, makes the other This Morning hosts look almost competent.

She said the show had a 'headless horseman'. Now that may be down to the autocue writer but it also clearly says she's never seen the show and neither has the writer. I guess research isn't relevant to them.

I feel like another season could happen.The finale felt underwhelming.I absolutely love this series ❤️

Horrible Histories is the most popular children's books in my library. Wonderfully informative and funny. So sad Ghosts are going.

I was generously going to blame the researcher(s). Also 'ghosts from different time warps'?! No, not really. And saying to Mat 'you helped create the series', a little like the decades' worth of Horrible Histories team-writing didn't exist, and Ghosts is a sort of hobby, LOL.

@@grahamb8994 I picked up on the horseman bit as well. I don't think they ever have a clue about who they're interviewing. Research seems to be a lost skill for this show.

The dryness found in other shows towards the end of their ‘lives’ which is often tried to be masked as sophistication cannot be found in Ghosts. Comparing the last series to the beginning it just got…better. Well done. Hat off.

wish they'd change their minds and go again. so may ways for the show to evolve. love each and every one of the characters in it. so well written. even love the us version , different thing completely but aye still good.

Ill be rewatching it 25 times just like i did after series 5 of HH

Like the show. And I bet the gang is also happy that the American ghost caught on because of you guys .

Adore this show, and there are going to be a lot of tears when it's over

Horrible histories, Ghosts please make something else to cheer us up we do need this gentle humour so much

They made "Yonderland" a few years back.

My God! I’m late clearly so I have all the seasons ahead.. but this is the f a r best comedy I’ve seen in years and I’m only at season 2, my mental health will be ok for now…. Thank you son much Ghosts!! 😁😍🥰

I'm going to miss it. I hope they resolve some storylines since it is the last series and go out with a bang.

The two interviewers are a tad cringe, as ( especially the Bristol one ) obviously don't know the show at all...😮

So frustrating, here in New Zealand we've only seen one series ... would love to see more.

My missus and I love the US version as well. Most of all I love comparing the two shows.

Can’t believe it’s already over and I miss it so much 😢😢 but there comes a point where the fun ends ghosts forever ❤❤❤

As good as ghosts was, it was such a bad call to cancel Quacks. It was such a great subject. The characters were more real. The storyline was so much more interesting, funny, and gripping.

Love so much. I wish we could get Seasons 4 and 5 in US.

I'm so sorry that the show is ending, I love it!! I'm in the U.S., and we haven't been able to watch beyond series 3, I don't know why. The American version is good, but I like the UK version best.

Imagine having to go on ITV and explain an award winning, hit TV show that's been going for years, from the beginning. Embarrassing. ITV viewers under 40 have never heard of the term Sitcom.

Just watched the last series I’m gutted why?? They had so many more stories they could have done and I loved kitty let’s hope they realise it’s still a big hit and they make episodes where the ghosts can interact with guests at the hotel and people who die there never say never

I didn't realise at the time that seven year old me watching horrible histories when it first came out would still be watching the same people 13 years later, crying that Ghosts has finished. Both forever my comfort shows

Robin is my favourite character too. He's often the most intelligent in some ways and I loved it when he got a friend in the next field.

Ended on a high...the quality never went down...top show.

great show it will be missed, but will continue to watch the US version which amazingly is quite good for a remake

Original and so much better than the American version, well done.

Im so surpriced they didnt talk about the US version of it! Its the same idea and main story, but different enough that it is fun to watch without it feeling like a copy, cos the storys are different.

Shame to see it go, the BBC produces little of worth these days but this was a gem. Yonderland is another brilliant show these guys have done.

Definately need a season 6.... Simply because the last episode of season 5, Just ended so abrumptly.. Almost as if there is another episode coming.. Julian lets it slip that he pushed allison out of the window.. She wants to sell up... Then after an apology, They decide to stay..... and thats basically it.... I feel there was no DEEP finishing to the last episode of season 5, to wrap up the entire thing... 100% needs a season 6 to finish it up.... Something like, Baby is born, Their home goals are finally coming together.. They arent struggling for money anymore... Their life is settled and in order... etc...

Pleasant enough.

Kitty s my favourite character- kind- innocent and just a wants to make friends and have fun.

Never recognised that Charlotte from Call the Midwife. That is a sign of a good actor/actress, when they can become their character and not recognise in other shows. If you can recognise, then they can't become a character and always basically play themselves. The guy who plays the trouserless MP, was in Detectorists, and played basically the same character, and the fact that I recognised him is to me a negative.

The best of television, being promoted on the worst of television.

We needed just one more season to give us that feeling that " I have 6 seasons and I can watch it whenever". But I am sure The Christmas episode is going to be very sad 😔 EDIT I DID NOT EXPECT THAT ENDING!!! 😠 😡 👿

I'm sorry for the British viewers, but was VERY relieved this isn't the US version! I was a bit panicky when I saw the video title. 🤪 Although, I do wish I could see the UK version!!!
