Why does everyone think this is Gmod? It's the original Half-life 2 mod! NOT GMOD! I don't like asking for likes but please like this so other people can see this. Please! The Stanley Parable you probably know of is a remake of this mod and made into an actual game with better graphics and other improvements

All of the narrator's lines and speaking are more polished and emotional in the HD Remix.

I must admit, I like how the Narrator has more personality in his voice during the current game. But this is still cool to watch, and I came here specifically to hear more Kevan Brighting dialogue because he's just that good at it :D

its so wierd seeing the things im used to SLIGHTLY differently

in this version you go to the lounge normally and the narrator isnt angry about it, in the new version the narrator hates it when you go to the lounge

I remember playing the mod 8-9 years ago, before the game was actually announced and how I was captivated by the unique concept that few games have done since... It's hard to believe how far The Stanley Parable has come, first when it became a full fledged game, and now the EVEN MORE endings in the recently released Ultra Deluxe! It's honestly mind boggling that this is where it all began!

Everybody talking about this being a GMOD map (it's not), but nobody's talking about the "American Beauty" score at the beginning and end of the game.

Cj cathead this had 6 endings and the original had 18 ending tons and tons of more easter eggs not 3 or 4 and voices were redone new voice for female voice acter minigames errors new textures behind the scenes map lots of new areas and jokes but u just say 3 or 4.. good

Clearly people play far more GMod than HL2. It's a little odd to me that so few people know the background of the Stanley Parable. It became clear to me very quickly (from reading reviews before I bought the game, and from watching the different trailers) that the Stanley Parable had history, a quick search told me everything I needed to know.

There’s a new 2013 Remake which is REALLY GOOD

Stanley decides for him for him for him for him for himsrelf from now on.

When you fall off from the portal elevator shaft in the original the old rooms reminds me of this

You can enter to the beta office room and employee 427 room if you enter three times the blue door (if you dont know where it is, you need to jump off the platform) After playing Minecraft and Portal and all that stuff

sutanpuu he made the game. He’s telling a story and Stanley is the protagonist.

Yeah precisely, so The Narrator being Stanley's Boss would also kinda fit. Plus in the ending the Narrator told Stanley that he made all the co-workers disappear. Plus the mind control device is the Boss's dark secret, because you can only get there through Boss's office. Of course, it could also be that The Narrator is not The Boss, but I mean why not? Anyways, whether he is not, doesn't of course matter in the long run, but just a thought...

I somehow enjoyed the mod more than I enjoyed the game. Anybody feel the same way?
