Of the animals named for George Steller, this Steller's Jay manages to somehow escape the dark curse attached to the ill-fated naturalist, and thrives today west of the Rocky Mountains with an endearing and raucous bravado! Cheers and happy birding, Declan 🤗🐦🦉

One tripod is piggybacked on another with the aid of duct tape. I wouldn't normally do this but the configuration of the feeder with its squirrel proofing required a good height to attain eye level with the birds. Mind you, I like squirrels well enough, I think they're adorable...on the ground 😊

@@MyaYard 👍🏼When I was a kid there was a TV program called 'The Red Green Show'...much of my use of duct tape today was inspired by it! 😂
