I remember fondly of going on a day of tubbing down one of the springs in the 70's, boy do I miss that. I was a Floridian.

The Florida aquifers are one of the most beautiful and important resources that the state has. We needto take care of them. I'm from Maine and I have visited these places a few times and I am blessed every time I go. I am very careful not to upset the environment, and just enjoy the beautiful fish and scenery. Thank you Florida for allowing me this pleasure in the middle of my hard cold winters.

This is an amazing video. I have been swimming in many of the springs named in this video that are in Central Florida from Blue Spring in Orange City, Florida, to Juniper and Silver Glenn in the Ocala National Forest since I was a young child. Yesterday, I swam for hours at Wekiva Springs State Park in Longwood/Apopka Florida (not featured). This video captures expertly the glorious beauty of the springs it was filmed in. Thank you for giving the world such an amazing view of the wonder that is the the Floridian Aquifer System and its springs. I'll take a swim in spring over a pool any day!

My husband and I have been to all of these springs over the years. We are going to begin exploring all the springs in NW Florida in the panhandle. First is Devils Hole and Blue Springs near the Econfina river.

Excellent video production on all levels, from the choice of vocal narrator, to photography to music selection. This video truly showcases some of the natural beauty that is the real Florida. One of the only things I miss is Florida's natural beauty. Thanks for posting this and may our Creator continue to bless you.

Brilliant. The best intro to the Florida Springs I've seen. Proof positive of the existence of gods. And yes the alligators can be dangerous, part of the mystery, beauty and terror of the Wild. Your couch will kill you quicker. Learn and teach respect not fear. Thanks Maykay for a wonderful video. Would like to get back into that river. Any way you know to access it without a boat? Would really appreciate any ideas/tips.

The Navy has ruined the beautiful Bugg Springs behind our property. When we first moved here 25 years ago it was clear and beautuful...not any longer. They put a chaon link fence across the head od the spring so it does not flow freely because vegetation has blocked it.

Given a choice, alligators want warmer water. So the closer you are to the spring, the less chance of gators. You could go in the winter when the gators are in their holes and the manatees are in the springs.
