I was watching the Kung Fu series when I was a kid but totally unaware of The Green hornet. After watching a couple Bruce Lee movies I became aware of the green hornet. Much respect for you keeping the memory and spirit of Bruce Lee alive. Thanks for everything you do.

And we all know that people need idols who motivate to train and exercise, and it concerns the young and old. Just like in ancient Rome, where some gladiators were idols for many knights. Great Interview with Sifu Anthony Colon! It's good to see someone who you chat with from time to time and you can also see that he's a cool down to earth person. @@CharlesDamianoBLC Yes the dream was great. I can't remember if I've told you before, but I've dreamt of us sparring with sticks. We were in a large garden with a big fur tree behind us. There was a house with white cladding on it. You had a white T-shirt with a JKD emblem in the middle and I was doing an abininko technique. But I was holding something like a branch. Also it is Sigung Richard's birthday on Sunday. He would have been 82.

1983 my worst injury .. In short cup caught a kick, the cup was forced up to my belly button, taking everything with it. Instantly vaporized my left testicle. Luckily, I still had kids. It had no bad lasting effects on me. I managed to walk off the floor and I got a round of applause. I stood there for 30 minutes till I could move

Phew.. Where do I start Charles? Incredible & beautiful interview with Sifu Colon .. Sifu Colon brought back so many memories! For example: Me watching “Kung Fu” with my dad in our living room in the Bronx & then when Sifu Colon mentioned the store, “Tiger King” on Fordham Rd. in the Bronx.. But mostly .. what a humane teacher to the youth of all diversities; and of special needs… And all his inspiration came from one guy when he was just 4 years old.. Bruce Lee … The man; the myth; the legend. The demos of Sifu Colon’s young students students at the end were bone chilling! What a wonderful Sifu Colon! God Bless you in your work! Hi Charles, Great Episode and great Story. Loved the Kata demonstration. I noticed Sifu Colon has a picture of Gogen the Cat Yamaguchi on his wall. He trained my friend Bob Taiani in Japan. Bob fought Mike Stone and lost. He told me jokingly that if he would have won that fight he would have been with Priscilla Presley and not Mike Stone. Thanks for posting this my friend. The video shop in the 80s here had these Kung Fu movies from Bruce Lee and a bunch of Asian Action Kung Fu Movies one of the titles was Ten Tigers of Shaolin and one of the Actors is still alive today and that is Bruce Leung Siu-Long, he was one of the Ten Tigers.

Osu Grandmaster Anthony Colon. This is a very excellent interview and conversation with Charles Damiano. B-Boy Frosty Freeze 1964-2008 used of the movements from the Kung Fu/Karate flicks he saw at the movie theaters and added them to his B-Boy dance moves.
