@Maya Skars Before a lot of physical exercise, horses need to warm up their muscles to get their blood flowing effectively and prevent too many muscle fibres from breaking under sudden exertion. Warming down a horse gives enough time for the blood and lactic acid to pump out of the horse's muscles, and prevents them from becoming stiff and sore. A good warm also down allows the horse to stretch and gives them a faster recovery, as well as a better rate of muscular growth and development.

I’m not easily impressed by horse management but you know your stuff! That horse is bursting with energy

When you didn't realize there were English subtitles until you read the comments because you were too busy appreciating content that transcends language ❤

I find it incredible how lovely you treat your horse. The trust between the two of you is spectacular as well, especially with an injury. I started riding back in January at a barn here in America. My instructor is incredibly strict and rude. She is constantly sarcastic to not only me, but to the horses there as well. Sadly this Stable does not have any Arabians; all the people here in my stable say they are “ugly, stupid, and rude” but I disagree completely. I believe that this breed is the smartest breed in existence and the people at my stable are the rude idiots. They are constantly whipping and yelling and riders and horses. Many of their lesson horses are (almost) geriatric OTTB geldings. Everyone else there is used to it but I’m hoping to ride at another barn as soon as possible. The Arabian horse truly is a gift that so many people take for granted and refuse to treat with respect. I truly hope to one day befriend one of these glorious Arabian horses. Thank you for posting this; you have taught me more in the past seven minutes than a rude woman has taught me in seven months.

for our horses well in history we are the masters and had the best horses in the world and our breed is lessons from ages ago and wars using horses and we communicate with the horse and in our religion we have to respect animals and treat them with care , and for the rude instructor well if she continues with disrespecting horses she might one day will be in wheel chair because horses feel the disrespect

@@kalthami2225 I hope not because as an Arab nothing triggers me more than seeing Arabians outside of Arabia especially in the west that I hate the most

It's refreshing to see a rider take this level of care to make sure his horse does not injure himself - muscle/tendon strains are very real and all too common when a horse is not warmed up. You clearly care deeply about Majoor, and I can see why, he is a truly majestic creature. I have a deep respect for traditional Arab horsemanship and the bonds it encourages. Majoor enjoyed his run with his human friend for certain.

Tanja SAME gibt nichts wo man so schnell reiten kann Außer manchmal auf nem Feld aber die sind meistens nicht groß genug für ne lange Strecke ☹️

Wir haben nen recht langen weg. Ist zwar Schotter aber das geht. Und wenn mal mehr Zeit ist, gibts auch noch nen Wald mit quasi ausschließlich Sandwegen. Da kann ich nur leider nicht so oft hin, weil ich 1. “nur“ die Rb bin und daher nur einmal die Woche reite und 2. Der Weg ziemlich lang an der Straße lang geht. Da will ich dann nicht alleine hin😅

For those who dont understand what he said in Arabic to the horse when he kissed it, he said "thank you, beautiful". He was complimenting him, letting him/her know he is proud.

Fun fact, pure Arabian horses have so much pride and self esteem that it you whip them or insult them they would starve them selves to death!

@@JavierBonillaC well i’m Arab, i don’t recognize certificates and registrations, i know an Arabian horse when i see one, and a pure Arabian blood is fairly expensive. I’m talking about Arabian peninsula horses, thats millions of $

@@galaxys3hassan where are you from? I'm very interested in his pedigree. I have an ex Arabian race horse with classic bloodlines... Masha Allah he's 26yo. Makour has the speed for the racetrack, he will do good insha'Allah. Can you message me pls?

I miss the openness and the emptiness of the desert. I miss the fresh air, the warm climate and the cool breeze. It's so beautiful and serene and it feels liberating. It's probably what this horse is feeling too.

I really enjoyed watching this and seeing him warm up properly, and his commentary was actually quite interesting and he obviously loves his beautiful horse and it is obviously well cared for and he is a very good rider. It is a nice change from some videos you get now a days in all countries on race courses etc it was also lovely countryside

Beautiful to see how someone loves his animal with his heart. I remember when I was 13 when my bull and my dog do not eat unless I sit with them.

Astounding. 46.60 miles per hour. Arabian horses are the best🌹 I had a few Arabian horses. Nothing compares. I watch a lady who has an Arabian horse, Farouk. It seems his spirit is broken. He wasn't like that when she first got him. He seems sad and is somewhat withdrawn. He doesn't have that natural Arabian pride any longer. It is so sad. He's only 6 yrs. old, but acts like late 20's to 30 yrs old. My Arabians were always proud, vital, alert and happy... Thank you for sharing this video.

I’m not a fan of how she is with him either. How she says “whoa” like every other second. Like she doesn’t trust him and he doesn’t trust her. He seems stiff all the time.
