Man nevermind the music is nice but they seem so ancient that I'm literally terrified. And also a lot of them are still in the music industry and still haven't made that big. I hope they do one day. What a story it would be for the world

No, Blacksnake is King Khan. Mark Sultan is the vocalist in this band and is BBQ in King Khan & BBQ Show.

It's from 1998 - the year is posted at the end. The lineup change after mid-1997 limited the possibility anyway, and the mask I thought he wore mainly early on and not later. Mid-1998 I think.

I can date it between mid-1997 (lineup change) and mid-1999... probably '97 because of the mask.... from fall 1997-early 1998 they had relocated to Vancouver so that's out... I say mid 1997... three years, they said... that would make 1998... mid-1998 probably... well, the date shows up at the end!
