Joe Kelly flipped a light switch and became very good.

He's always had good stuff, just terrible control. Clearly he shines when it counts though, because he was good with the Cardinals too. 2013 in particular.

Say what you want about the Red Sox bullpen but they really came through in the World Series. Joe Kelly, Eovaldi and Barnes were fantastic. Each guy has some naaasty stuff when they're on.

Honestly, the bullpen struggles in most of the regular season games I saw, u thought their bats would win it for them anyway, as soon as the other teams bullpen came in. But actually Boston's bullpen somehow became air tight and the bats became silent. Eovaldi was death to hitters, Kelly was dominant, Barnes was very good. Even Heath Hembree looked really good and did well.

@@robertfan332 very true... they were clutch when they were needed most and not only surprised the hell out of me but Red Sox Nation as well. Sale, Price and Porcello... Three fantastic starters also came in and got some crucial outs and were completely selfless...a testament of this team's moral.
This bullpen just has so much swagger right now

The one thing Dave Dombrowski has always prized above everything else is a great rotation. He came to Boston, had fewer resource limitations than he's ever had before, and proceeded to stack the hell out of the Red Sox starting pitching, to magnificent effect.
I love how after only 2 games, there’s a “nastiest pitches” compilation
Joe Kelly's chageup is a cheat code
Joe Kelly reminds me of Wild Thing, he pitched great.

Boy what were we thinking? As the great Arnold Perlstein would say, we should have stayed home those days.
1:35 - Joe Kelly's change up is so gangsta'
Joe Kelly went from being hated, although by scared shitless Red Sox fans, to being utterly dominant in in the playoffs with no walks and 13 strike-outs across 11 innings pitched. Price reversed his curse, too. When he is on his game his cutter when thrown inside has the highest success rate in all of baseball.

That’s just a 4 seam fastball. Kimbrel’s arm angle creates the illusion of it “rising,” and it’s what makes it so effective up in the strike zone.

The dodgers had trouble with the astros In the World Series Sox won 3 games at Houston to take the ALCS they slaughtered the champs something the dodgers couldn't do what's make you think the dodgers have a chance they needed to win atleast one at Boston but nope now they need to win 3 back in LA,two words,Good Luck.
Lol Taylor can't hit off our pitchers for shit. Half of this video is him striking out loooooooool.....

No matter how much MLB wants this series to be watched, people do not care. This will be the most forgettable WS in a decade.
@bwells3787

Kori Jenkins I think it could still be a series, given the fact that Muncy, Bellinger, Pederson, etc. haven’t been in the starting lineup yet. But people not caring has more to do with the slow pace of play in the sport and these 4 hour games, not the matchup.
