I live in a small country town in Australia, several years ago I woke up one night, it was about 3 in the morning, to a very loud trumpet kind of sound, it gradually got louder for about 30 seconds, then abruptly stopped. My wife and I head a sound like this a week ago just outside our front door. It initially caused fear in me and my wife big time. It lasted about 5-7 seconds. I checked the ring video and nobody was on our porch or property but it sounded like it was from right on the other side of our door. I asked my wife to google shofar sound...and that's EXACTLY the sound I heard. I went from fear to gratitude and started praising God! I've been in a 3 year long battle with migraines and depression and that really lifted my spirits! 11/19/2008 I had an encounter with God (funny cause I was an atheist) that changed EVERYTHING! Been clean and sober ever since that encounter and can't wait to get through this mental battle!

I am from the Philippines. I've started to hear this strange sound for several months already between 12 MN to 3 AM. At first I thought my brother was just listening to a sleeping sound that sounded like brain entrainments in his room. I am so familiar with the sound because back when I was in college, I would listen to brain entrainments with different hertz with a combination of binaurals which gave me focus. Every night, I would wake up and hear the sound, I thought it was just in my head but that went on up until today. I can describe that sounds like a low hertz brain entrainment sound, or let say a sound of a plane above the sky. Actually, why typing this comment, I am hearing this sound.

I used to hear sounds outside - seeming to come from the sky, and only at night. They sounded like machines. Some sort of engine and metal scraping together. I lived in a rural area where there were no factories or industrial goings-on. Just ocean and forest. I couldn't figure it out. I wonder if that is part of the same phenomena.

I live in California a few years back I heard trumpet sounds coming from the sky. I was totally amazed and scared.

Being involved in astrophysics, I have learned that space junk re-entering the atmosphere is capable of producing some pretty serious noise, especially long,fat bundles of wire, which can produce ear-splitting tones before eventually burning up. With all the space junk out there, I'm not surprised we're hearing such sounds.

I've heard this sound 3 times in my life, all when I was young. The first two occurrences were only a few months apart in the late 80's and each one lasted well over an hour. You couldn't tell what direction it was coming from, it was almost as if you were right at the source of it at all times. We got in the car the second time and it still sounded the same a mile down the road. It came twice in a few months and that was it for a few years. We had all but forgotten about it when it came back one more time in the early 90's; but that has been it as of now. We had all forgotten about it since then too until tonight when it went through my dad's mind; and we both agree this is exactly what we heard.

For some random reason, i heard this. And i thought it was the trumpet in the final days. And i was terrified because of it.

Going inside a metal box will only make it worse

I've heard some strange noises in the air that made me stop but it turned out to be long distance echoes from construction projects miles away. Just saying, might help explain some.

I believe the title of this video is "The source behind a mystery sound" You've brought forth absolutely no answers to it. So don't advertise your video to us that you know.

trust me, you dont want to! the hum this guy is talking about only some experience, its a vibration in the ear drum coming from who knows where, and it hurts your ears alot! put your fingers in your ears and pull down really hard, thats what it feels like. who or what ever makes this noise, vibration or what ever the hell it is sucks alot! and i hope they suffer someday from the same pain!

I just realized that I probably heard it walking home from school, I thought it was multiple sirens for tornados, it started off as one then there was multiple kinda everywhere, that happened last year and I never heard it again
