why doesn't this have millions of likes and millions of views? gawd i played this record over and over and over. I am 47 years old dudes!
Our record cabinet was about four feet tall by four feet wide and eight feet long. I used to sit on the shag carpet beneath it and play this album over and over.
Thank you, I remember it well. Wish you could get the entire album on a CD.
damn this brings back memorys. i had these albums when i was a kid. built the models of all these charactors in the 60s. and now their worth some bucks. KOWABUNGA SURFS UP GRAB YOUR BOARD AND SPLIT.
Wow, that takes me back. Thanks.
I love this album
Great to hear this again, still have my copy but it's scratched up pretty bad. Brings back childhood memories.
I first got into Surf & Hot Rod at age 19, when The Barracudas appeared, and hearing this amazing record, I only wish I'd had this as it would have been perfect for the all night parties I used to go to...;)
I just can't believe what you can find on KZread. old commercial...there...tv show clip, there. I think I made all of these models. And had this record. I think there was a cartoon too but i don't remember watching it. And i think this was in the 60's wasn't it?
I grew up in surf town San Clemente, CA. My next neighbor was Shane Beschen (some 6 years old at the time) who later went on to be world number one. My dad bought this album in 63 when it came out, but I discovered in 1976 when I was 6 and stole it from his collection and played it over and over. He still lives in San Clemente about two blocks from the beach. Somewhere in the mess of his garage this album still sits. Would that I could go back for just a while. . . .
Yes! Love it!
Awesome - such a fun album!! Thank you for posting!!
This is pretty groovy stuff. It should be placed amongst the other surf greats.
Haven't heard this entire album in fifty years!!!!

Early seventies I'm back again sitting in front of the six foot long record player cabinet.

This is the 1st real album i remember, Fuck yeah! go me!
I have this album to and it's kinda scratched to 👍
They should add this to Spotify so I can listen to it on there
Uh uhuh...I had this album too.
I haven't thought about this album in awhile... I had made the HotDogger Hanging Ten model. Mad magazines, RC Cola, and Butterfingers were some of the things we loved.
Where's Swing Raven Curvette? There's a couple others I can't remember that are on that record too.
Pearl Jam brought me here
I listened to these albums when I was a kid until they wouldn't play anymore. I still haven't found the album with "Leaky Boat Louie" or the album that had "Monster Surfer Hanging Six"
