Jazlin Pryor or, you saw it wrong or someone hacked your world. i searched the web for herobrine and the hero brine of the forums has minecraft. explanation, the 'real' herobrine proberly just a hacker trolling people . he doesn't do something like killing you. he isn't notch's death brother. nothing to be scared about.

Herobrine spotted you and stares 6. You just made an evil spirit angry 7. You pass by an unknown creatures hiding place 8. Dragon awakes from deep sleep 9. Empty ghost plane from a past civilisation 10. Herobrine is very close 11. Minecarts very quickly passing by behind you... on their own 12. Someone in the caves gets scared by something 13. Demons are very close

what if the sounds of technology, like airplanes and stuff, is the sounds of previous civilization? A world once filled with cars, airplanes, trains that used to roar into the sky, where now they only play their music of their engines in abandon hollow caves? Which leaves this question...what happened to technology? Why is there big scary monsters? And why the hell won't villagers stop going "HMPH." EVERY FIVE SECONDS!?

Maybe Steve (or the player) was part of this "past civilization" And after the nuclear war (as LANCEitzMe predicts) the player woke up centuries later, finding out nearly everything that was in his/her past life was gone. This might explain why the player knows a lot of recipes to items such as tools and weapons. For the villagers, I also believe that they might be a re-evolved human that also woke up from the tragedy that occurred and managed to build small villages.

Cave 14 is why I couldn’t sleep last night

If you ask me I think screeching violin aka 10 is the creepiest I remember that the most and that was what made me block off every cave that I saw to avoid the sounds in creative mode

When I first started playing minecraft in 1.5.2 these sounds scared the living crap out of me. and they still do! these ambient sounds actually discouraged me from playing in survival and going into the cave systems because they were so creepy.

I sampled 1 and put it on a sampler and then when i got to an unknown note and played it,i found the echos of a man falling down an elevator shaft!

Thanks this helped me a lot. Because when you turn off the music in Minecraft these random noises would come up, they were usually scary like the violin screech, I used to think they meant something! Thanks for the video!

Sigh of a demon/devil when demons tell him that we failed some mission. 9. Airplane that is high in the sky running on almost full speed. 10. Ghast body cut with sword,ghast screams. 11. Waves hitting docks. 12. Some man uses guitar,when he is not teached with it. and Makes scary sound. 13. Devil is opening his jaw,with wid eyes when demons tell him that they are in trouble.

They are playing if the game detects you walked by an "air" block, means if under you is minimum 1 or more blocks of nothing (like a cave) and wrapped around with blocks than every 6000-18000 ticks (300-900 seconds) a sound comes up.

You can hear the cave sound if the space is 3x3x3 house with light level below 8? But you cant hear it on land even there's huge cave below you because gsme detects you walking on surface not 3 blocks below surface

Cave 5 is scarier than watching the scariest horror movie 10 times in a row at 3 AM, it scared the crappy shit out of me..

These sounds creeped me out when I first started playing in 2013

+WITH3RED BONNI3 Actually, cave sounds are just something that happens randomly when near a cave and you're underground. Can happen in the Nether, Overworld, and End. It helps players find caves when searching and also just scares players.

I used to hear what sounded like breathing when I went mining back on my Legacy Console Edition worlds (had slabs and stairs, and they couldn't be placed upside down). Nothing else. Never another noise. Just faint, quiet exhales every so often, like a sigh echoing around a corner. Scared the fuck out of me, because I didn't know cave sounds were a thing. Maybe they were just more limited back when that version came out, or something? I hope so, because the Blaze Breathing is the closest I've heard to what I heard, and that's not even that close. Literally just sounded like someone breathing somewhat close to me. I don't believe I've heard that on the Xbox One.

u can use a texture pack and delete all The cave sounds in The folder

Regular cave sounds are not too much scary, but the low pitched are very scary

The tone and pitch of these sounds, and where they originate give me the chills.

If you are on PC or mac, and you want them OFF, do this command via ctrl+C. /gamerule Cavesunds false. that command will turn thwem off. Helpful? like if helpful!

Cave Sounds which looks like. 1: Lonely, ghost breaking the bell. 2: A woman who died in the back of the caves. 3: Herobrine sneaks at you. 4: Roar of the beast. 5: The player saw something creepy. 6: The player tried to enter the Province. 7: The player tried to kill the Herobrine. 8: The player tried to murder a hostile mob. 9: The player tried to enter the Airport. 10: The player spotted something useful and tried to chase him. 11: The player tried to enter the Train Station. 12: The player tried to enter The End. 13: The player tried to enter Hell. 14: The player got killed by a Herobrine. 15: The player destroyed an end crystal. 16: The player was locked in Jail.

About cave number eight, it was blaze breathing. This was heard in nether. It was the first sighting of a blaze. Then blazes were added. Cool huh?

When you are entering a cave you know that the sounds aren't anything. But when you hear em they are like an encouragement to fear.

These sounds don't normally scare me, and I'm actually a fan of the Angelic Singing, but it does scare me sometimes. Normally when I'm doing something stressful like being on low health and hiding from mobs, or crawling along the sides of a ravine and trying to keep a skeleton from shooting me. At that point it's less of a 'scared' feeling but more of a 'not right now!" kind of emotion. The only other time it scares me is when I'm already in a cave, smelting something and exit the smelting menu and it plays, scaring me like how a creeper sound would if I was in my inventory.

I just started playing and have absolutely no idea what to do or what's going on most of the time. Imagine the sheer amount of panic and anxiety I got once i found a little cave to make my shelter and the first time I go in after digging out a nice area I hear one of these noises. Made me feel like no place is safe in this game. Even worse, one time I came back to find an Enderman inside my bare little home. Freaked the hell out of me.

I was digging in a flat world and then... I began to hear something. It was loud enough to shake the phone from the lower noises alone. It took a bit, but then I realized that it was a cave noise. Cave 5. "Why would cave noises play in a flat world only a little bit underground?" I asked myself. That was when I was 13. I'm still confused to this day.

the info on cave sounds explains why my underground bedroom has weird sounds. Oh and correction- cave sounds can be heard in xbox360 but not all of them can be heard.

Here's some more info, on PC and Mac versions, The Cave Sounds, AKA Herobrine Cries, are ambient sounds played randomly throughout Minecraft, They can also be heard in Mods such as the Herobrine Mod, you cannot remove them without any mods, and they are meant to freak you, but at this point Minecraft will still have Cave Noises

cave 2 tries to bring you relief but instead it brings you panic

Heard the 1st sound in a mineshaft and it's the scariest in my opinion. I believe it's also the rarest sound to hear.

ive heard these on xbox and #5 and #3 and #10 gave me the chills

When I was 9 I was playing minecraft mining in a cave at night at around 1AM. Everyone was asleep and 0:10 played and I looked around me nervously and started crying.

Looks like you're another person that suffers from trainwhistleophobia! And no, I didn't just make that up

In 1.12 the cave sounds literally happen every minute so I don’t usually get scared of them because I get used to them

why does 5, ringing sound always remind me of (probably because i hear it a lot then) an giant ravine with the lighting glitch that the background gets lit but still stays dark grey

Cave sounds play in any 3x3 space with light level of 8 or below they can play in both high and low pitches because of the games code they DONT indicat the structures etc they are completely harmless as of Minecraft 1.2 with the new anvil level format cave sounds can be heard on Multiplayer however the sounds are different for each client in the same chunk

Well, I constructed a Minecraft cave tunnel with an opening of 4 blocks by 4 blocks, its 250 blocks long, if there was no torch, will cave sounds be heard in the center?

when i was younger i always was scared at the angelic one. I was scared of every cave sound actually. i kept having that sound stuck in my head for 2 years. It doesnt bother me anymore but it still sounds scary....

My sister got happy when hearing cave 2.

I have this theory that these cave sounds are echoes from the past. Not from some old civilization, but from past incarnations of your character. Every time you die, your character becomes a zombie, and the character you play as is entirely different, but identical in every way.

I wish the bug of not playing them will be permanent.

Guys let me tell you that cave sounds can happen in 3x3 spaces and caves of course even if you put torches in a natural cave the sounds will still come and they don't indicate anything they just wanna scare ya.

You know, these sounds were once named Herobrine_sighting once. They used to play when Herobrine was close or was watching you. Every time I heard these I shat myself.

I am building a large space shuttle in minecraft. And when I broke a block into the orange tank, all I could see was darkness. And then cave 2 just played! And here in Northern Ireland, There is thunder and rain outside!!

Ive played minecraft for eight years now and I have only ever heard the demonic grunt

This is my story: I was playing a multiplayer game with my friends when hearing Cave sound 5. I quickly rushed over to my mine to realise it was just a noise. At dark I went down into the cave to get more better at combat. My friends went down with me. We all had Night Vision so it was easy to see. After a while we found a big open space which has been proven to have herobrine. I guess the noises do have something to do with him once in a while as it had only been about two minutes. After hearing the sound of A Passing Engine our night vision wore off way too early. We never checked to see what moon it was. We saw a blue figure standing about 8 blocks behind us. We never checked. I haven't played minecraft ever since but I have been able to hear these noises on Superflat

I think that blue figure was herobrine. I know that herobrine wears a blue shirt

ik this is late but this scares me alot bc theese play when im not even in a cave just in my house or exploring!
