Both of my cats are scared of the rats. The rats stay in the basement, since my cats dont go down there much at least... but they just sit on the stairs and watch the rats run around.

@BeeBea it would be a temporary fix. They are everywhere where I live. We have blocked what can be blocked, used poison, sticky traps, electric traps- you name it, we've tried it. The rat population is out of control here.

Mice have to know this sound is of an enemy. If they live in your home and never encountered a cat they have zero refference

I have a long hair chihauhau as well, she's such a sassy girl & reminds me of Stewie from the Family Guy television show b/c she has such attitude. Yeah her ears are going straight up too! I also have a shitzu (sp?) that was given to me after my mother passed away couple months ago who I miss so much & Buddy misses her as well. I don't think the cat noises bother him though b/c he's asleep & doesn't seem to care but my "little chi" Sweetpea doesn't like cat noises at all.Good luck getting rid of mice everyone - I have ONE annoying bitch of a mouse I want GONE!

@@meganf1801 once my mum told me a story im african and so is my mum and when she was very young she saw a rat in her room and was horrified so she knew if she left the rats more would come so she came up with a good plan she found a cage and put some cheese and garlic in it to attract the rats so she woke up to 3 gigantic rats in the cage and was so suprised she wasnt scared but heres where the clever part comes in she shaked the cage so hard for 5 minutes straight to make the rats dizzy then she called a cat and attracted it with the cage then the rats were SOOOOOO dizzy she opened the cage and she ran far by this time the rats were to dizzy to run then the cat easily ate ALLLLLLL of the rats and my mum found out that the cat was a stray so kept her no rat EVER came back but the cat died years ago RIP know im def asking my mum for one

I heard noises from my trash can, so I played this and immediately at 20 secs. I seen it run from the kitchen aghhh I’m freaked out. Yes it works

I glimpsed something lurking in the dark yesterday and that’s when my mission of search started but couldn’t find anything so i kept the lights and stayed on bed then comes the mice tryna act sneaky walking slowly towards the fridge. I couldn’t catch it and slept with the lights on lol

Alright my mom has bought a thousand glue traps for the mice and now I see the mouse sniff the glue and run over it like it’s just the floor 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m so tired of these damn mice now it won’t leave my closet and when I turn off the kitchen light and sit down the mouse 🐁 comes out and runs close to me I also woke up one morning to a mouse at my feet 😭 it was so nasty I kicked and it jumped off and ran now I feel so unsafe bruh why god create these damn rats

If you do, please adopt from your local shelter; still giving a homeless cat a roof over its head, and supporting TNR programs to combat the issue of unwanted stray and feral cat populations. You can probably find a good mouser there, plenty of shelter cats are taken off the streets
