The Sound of D'Addario XS'

Hello all :)
Herewith a middle-aged tune played on my oldest guitar strung with brand new strings...namely the D'Addario XS range.
With the XS range D'Addario has breathed new life into coated strings and I must admit that I REALLY like these.
My loved old Yamaha sounds truly amazing strung with the 11-52 PB's
Tune: Love Letter (Written the only way I know how) F.Herrmann 2019
Guitar: Yamaha FG 335ii
Mic A: Lewitt LCT 340
Interface: Audient iD14
DAW: Logic X with stock plug-ins

    Open D tuning or what? Sounds lekker... yes, Yamaha made (and makes) some wonderful instruments. My guitar for many yeas was a relatively modern APX-8D which I purchased in Maritzburg - unfortunately got some major humidity damage.
