The Sound I'd Like To Wear

The Sound I'd Like To Wear - Documentation 2023/24
The Sound I'd Like To Wear is an interdisciplinary project that has been realised with students of the Anton Bruckner Private University and the University of Art and Design Linz. Students from a variety of disciplines, including Textile Art Design, Postdigital Lutherie, Interface Cultures, and the Institute of Dance Arts, among others, investigate the development of costumes, the integration of sensor technology, the relationship between music and dance, and related topics. The costumes, which have been designed to become performative instruments, are transformed into sound and visuals through the movements of the dancers.
The resulting media and dance collages were presented in a joint performance at the Deep Space 8K at the Ars Electronica Center Linz.
