I'm a DJ of 30+ years and only discovered this album 2 years ago and after searching for this on vinyl my partner just found me a copy. This is up there with Smokers Delight, Blue Lines and Dumby. If you are not a fan by now I pity you. This whole album is pure gold!

In flight school our instructor would sit right next to us. On a cross country flight (around 4-6 hours) there would be long periods of no talking. We just sat listening to music on our noise cancelling headsets. Eventually I asked my instructor what he was listening to and we swapped headsets. I don’t remember which song it was but I distinctly remember this soundtrack.

This album doesn't have the attention that it deserves !!!

This album makes everything seem epic. I'm washing dishes and I feel like I'm slaying dragons in an old kung fu movie. But instead of flying around and spitting fire, the dragons are hanging out in dark alleys and creeping around corners wearing trench coats and fedoras in 1940s Tokyo.

A few information for this brilliant Artist. His name is Brian Witzig and he is a record collector from Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. This is his second album released in 2008. His first album called "Volume 2" was released in 2004 and it's also great, must listen!!

I ended up here one day I was stoned af and suddenly that name came to my head out of nowhere I swear, "The Sound Defects". And I thought "Woah, that'd be a cool name if I ever had a band". I googled it and found this piece of absolute gold and I couldn't be more happier that my idea wasn't that original. I was born in 1948 and saw Elvis on Ed Sullivan in 1956, my mother had a little Bakelite radio, and I have listened to everything that came out before and after that night. I still search everynight on You Tube for obscure music, a lot of it recorded in the sixties and never played. This album is just so unique and beyond comparison, it just still amazes me how much music was made by my generation and will probably still being discovered light years from now. John

4 days later, I'm still here twice a day... The fifth track "War" is such a trance while the eighth track "Take Out" is so nostalgic.

A good quality music is never mainstream..

This is pure fucking dangerously awesome. Can't stop listening over n over again.

Discovered it 5 years ago, and always come back to it

Quite right about being badass. They stick to your head, just about when your done with one passage, another creeps up and takes over. Right now I'm into "You're Mine". I can't help but say "Yo-ooou're mine ! . . . . Mine !", then that really nice melody on the piano, and then back to "Yo-ooou're mine ! . . . . Mine ! . . ." . Badass ! Awesome. And thanks !

The more I listen it, the more I addicted

I have accidentally wandered into this particular part of the festival and will certainly be staying for a while. :) Nice!

27 minutes in before i realised this wasn't one song, got lost in it, thank you.

This music grew on me so fast, makes me feel like going on a mission with a pure purpose full of love and logic. The flow is constant like a river. I love the way it makes me to start moving around and stretch my muscles to the perfect rhythm, it just flows on so perfectly. It's so positively smooth and yet bold at the same time. So thankful I found it... it's definitely healing and vibe therapy.
