The Soul's Prayer by Sarojini Naidu / in Tamil Bharath Ravindran / Bharath Academy. Sarojini naidu prays to God, to reveal to her the secret laws of life and death. In this poem The soul's prayer, Sarojini naidu also requests Him to give her all the joys and pains of life. Life is incomplete in the absence of joy and sorrow. Therefore she wants to drink both joy and sorrow to make her life complete. She wishes to have bliss and pangs of pain for self-purification and spiritual transformation. God's message is not to escape but to gladly face the sufferings of lfie for the purification of the soul.
