Dementia, Alzheimer’s, whatever; honestly one of the scariest and saddest things that can happen to a person. They do an amazing job on this show with Uncle June’s slow decline, Dominic Chianese is such a good actor.

yeah, mind diseases are the worst. Sure, it is horrible to e.g. be blind, can't walk, don't have an arm etc., but you still have your mind, and people are able to function quite well handicapped, or sick. but once the mind is gone, you are just a prisoner of your own body, and that's scary as hell

This scene, alongside quite a few other poignant moments concerning the entirety of such an incredibly magnificent series, I did honestly did shed a tear or two owing to these types of emotionally packed, convincingly brilliant performances. Such amazing actors. What a courageous, extraordinary show - The Sopranos is an irrefutable classic.

I don’t know if you guys remember but the beef with Tony and Feech started decades ago. Ralphie tells Jackie Jr. about it in season 3; Feech was the made man in charge of the card game that Tony, Silvio, and Jackie Sr. robbed as young men and got away with because of Tony’s dad. You know Feech wanted to body all of them back then and now he’s back taking orders from the ringleader, it’s got to sting a million times more than how Richie Aprile felt.

Tony and Feech on the surface are cool with each other, but remember that it was Feech's card game that Jackie Sr., Tony, and Silvio took down that established them as associates who were to be reckoned with (the story Ralphie told Jackie Jr. and Dino at the kitchen table near the end of Season 3). So they are both suspicious of one another.

Damn, he even warned Tony, when Janice was scheming with Ritchie. All for nothing. Junior had many defects in his character, but was way sharper than he is given credit for. He just was not suitable to be a leader. Perhaps a consilgniere, with his years of experience, ability of reading people etc. But that would not happen after he was for so many years in the shadow of his brother.

Man the fade the black after that last line just hits me like a brickwall. Similar to when Melfi says no to Tony about revealing what happened to her. And a few more that come up where they end it so perfectly. It's easy to remember this show started lots of shit when you see some silly early 90s to mid 2000s cheesy-ness but then when the show leaves you sitting there like this and you remember that pretty much everyone else sat there stunned in 2004 when the screen went black. There was no Breaking Bad or Wire or literally anything else to compare to at the time!!
