Love the high five when Ralph got it!
Joey Pantoliano won an emmy for episode 9.
I heard James Gandolfini actually burned himself on the stove in that scene

Probably, and probably did it on purpose too. I have seen him punching his vehicle a few times. Preparing for a scene
The goat isn't blind. That's just what their eyes look like. Their pupils are rectangular. Blues eyes are dominant in certain breeds.
"nine, no, seven steps." lol just great show

What a high five for “Ralphie”!!
Ralph was the Devil. This episode was about having Sympathy For the Devil (Rolling Stones). Ralph greeting the doctor with the phrase “Please allow me to introduce myself”. The priest asking Ralph “Where you there when Jesus had His moment of doubt & pain?? Essentially asking Ralph if he is the devil. Btw... Tony killed Ralph because of Tracee. Something about Tracee reminded him of Meadow. Her death haunted him in some way.
6:50 Rosalie mentioned his kinks in their break-up scene. I think she called it his, "sick shit" or "fucked up shit". 🤔
❤Loved the Ralph is dead high five👏 Joe Pantoliano or Joey Pants played Ralph perfectly. He is in a great 1988 DeNiro film called Midnight Run that you would love. A fantastic action comedy where he plays another jerk in the best way possible.

If you want great Pantoliani jerkitude, there's also "Bound", by the Wachowskis. Great, great movie too by the way, with a fantastic script and awesome actors all around.
Joe Pantoliano(sp?) stars in a really cool mob movie called "Bound". It's a little bit gay-centric involving Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon. Great movie. Joe's character steals the show.
"still no word from Ralph..." 😮💨
Sadly, James Gandolfini (Tony) did die in real life at the age of 51.
I don't think the horse had anything to do with Valentina. I think it was purely about money. Ralph wanted out of that business and was facing a lot of medical bills for his son. I don't think Ralph even did any of it to "get back at Tony" at this particular time. I do wonder if Tony was considering Tracy when he ends Ralph as a primary/compounding reason or if it was mostly about the horse. I like to think he was but it's still not clear.
You see the look on Tony's face after ralph left after making that Carmella comment?
I've always leaned that Ralph did not kill the horse ("but so what" is the reason, why say that if you did it, you say that to help your point), but who knows. It's funny though, there have been plenty of justifiable reasons for Ralph to die, but Tony chooses the moment that makes himself feel better momentarily.
Somehow the Goat made it out of the stall and survived 🤔 *Tony can quote the rules, they just don’t apply to him.
Chris, "I di..din..tt" LOL 13:45
12:47 James Gandolfini accidentally burns his hand for real.
Told you it was coming
Yes in real life the actor that plays “Ralphie”wears a toupee.

Really? Wow, I never knew. In-show though, Tony, being a skilled observer of human beings, noticed, while bumbling-through-life Chrissy did not... :D
Tony and his new side Chick are going to have a good time together. I feel it.. Viva las Vegas..
You’ll Never Look At A “Cheese Grater” The Same Way Again!!🫣😂
It wasn't so much that Jackie Sr left Roe with nothing, its just that she was keep in the dark in terms of what they had until Jackie died. And thank you for the reupload as well
Your hair was in da toilet watah.....disgusting -Silvio Dante
What do you mean you're shaving your head?
Tony could empathize with a horse, to the point he avenged its untimely death, but most actual human beings mean nothing to him, beyond whatever he can get out of them in some way or other, be it money, favors, whatever. You can be his childhood friend, like Artie Bucco, but friendship ultimately means less than free restaurant meals. This episode reminds us what a full-blooded psychopath he really is when he literally squeezes the life out of another man with his bare hands over a horse. Richie being his best earner didn't even matter at that moment. So yeah, Tony Soprano is not a nice guy, with any admirable traits, whatsoever. :P Btw, I don't think Valentina being with Tony really played any substantial part in Pie's death (btw 2: if you read this post before watching either the show itself or this reaction video, you're doing it wrong! lol), it was likely just Ralphie being in a spot financially with his son's medical bills, and the veterinarian bills, and of course, being a psychopath also so therefore caring more about money than most other things. Furio, I think, seems more of a reluctant mobster. He does a lot of violent stuff, but it seems out of a sense of duty, to me. Like, he was born into it, and he therefore feels obligated to do his part, likely using drugs (as we see him do in one episode) to deaden his emotions and the PTSD that would come from making a living maiming and killing people in service of a bunch of psychos. He would have been much happier back in Italy, growing tomatoes, methinks.

Tony could just say he visits from time to time, which might well be true.
Come on, that phone call to Paulies mom was hilarious lol

It was 😆 And I also understand Paulie being outraged
Tony is made fun off because he cares more about animals than humans. Then these 2 saying Cosette dying is the most horrible thing on the show. Like what the actual fock.

It’s relative to who he is as a person, and his questionable moral compass. So, yes, “these 2” can *absolutely* make that comment within this context.
No.... Adriana doesn't deserve better, she deserves who she chose to be with knowing who he is and what he does
