They should have cast him in a more major role in the Sopranos... he should have played Silvio, because the actor who did absolutely butchered the role and made one of the most serious characters look like a caricature. 1:43 this scene is the most telling of john's character imo and is what makes him such a redeemable and lovable character. he's not mad that his wife is fat. he's not mad that she failed at what she was trying. he's mad that she lied to him. she's the only person he is supposed to able to truly trust and even the smallest lie like this shakes him because of the constant distrust he has to face everyday in his work.

You forgot one of the best JS rage moments of all time. JS is kicking it back in a lawnchair and Ginny comes out, tells him sally Mae called, says she’s going to Nordstroms, and then states that she believes they should go to Italy because Little Carmine liked it. JS then casually rises from his chair saying “Good thing for Little Carmine that his fucking wallets not tied to the god damned esplanade GOD DAMMIT!” it’s one of his best rages because his anger increases so rapidly That the sentence starts out normal but ends in a full fledged yell.
