The Sony ICD UX570 : 5 Reasons Why I Love It

In this video, I discuss 5 reasons why the Sony ICD UX570 is such a great little digital recorder. As I have mentioned before, I am a big fan of this device. I use it all the time in many different ways. I find it very versatile, and it always seems to do a great job, no matter what the task may be.
There are many applications that this recorder can be used in. In this video, I break down 5 ways how I use the Sony ICD UX 570 digital recorder. This thing is light, portable, and always seems to give good results. I love how reliable and multi-faceted it is!
As someone who has been a home recordist since the 80s, I have used many different types of recording gear, both analogue and digital. Technology has certainly come a long way. For a long time I used a standalone CD recorder to digitize my analogue recordings. That worked well for some time, but eventually it started to go downhill and became less and less reliable.
What I love about the Sony ICD UX 570 is that not only can you use it for voice recordings (which, in itself, makes it a wonderful little recorder). But it can also be used to record an external stereo source. You can record your files in MP3 or WAV. It is also very easy to connect this recorder to your laptop via USB. Again, it is very easy to use and incredibly flexible.
If you are thinking about getting a handheld digital recorder, this just may be the one for you. I encourage you to watch other videos I have made about this recorder. In fact, I have a playlist dedicated to the Sony ICD UX 570. I will put a link to that at the end of this video.
Do you own the ICD UX570? What do you think of it? How do you use it? Do you like it? Do you use it to make podcasts or videos? Feel free to leave a comment!
